No prob with Smith, but I have to put Manning ahead for MVP, though it kills me to do so.

I don't see how Pey Pey is the mvp other than if we are giving it to him because he bought 21 Papa Johns pizza chains in Colorado right before weed was legalized.
I mean, its Ryan and it ain't close.
Lets see who it isnt... Rivera, Tolbert, Cam, Punchy Smith.

Not close? Lol.
Manning has more TD's, same INT's, higher completion percentage, more yards and a higher rating than Ryan, he's also adjusting to a new team without the receiving threats Atl has. Hell, Rodgers is ahead of Ryan too.
But you're right, it's not close.
Mark Schlereth and Herm Edwards agree that Manning is MVP at this point...but what do they know?

Mark Schlereth and Herm Edwards agree that Manning is MVP at this point...but what do they know? We made Manning look like a rookie out there head to head. He has won LESS games, so thats fairly important too right? Are they close to undefeated? No? Oh, well thats pretty big. How many 4th quarter comebacks? Decker and Thomas are legit WRs. If i didn't have Julio and Roddy, those are the two id want, so that arguement holds as much water as the rest of your opinions, very little.

You "destroyed" Manning and STILL has better numbers than Ryan, that's my point.

you should know this better than most...when you are losing your passing stats get inflated. unfortunately for Matt Ryan's stats, we don't lose.

You're a passing offense now, if you're not bright enough to see that then there's not much I can do for you. I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Exactly, if you notice, Ryan's biggest yardage games were the ones where he wasn't as efficient. The Peyton Manning of old didn't put up that big of yardage, but he reeled in MVPs playing efficiently and winning a ton of games. Really their numbers are pretty identical aside from Manning having a couple more TDs and Ryan having 8 more sacks on him. However, an undefeated record and 3 more wins obviously offsets the slightly better numbers Manning and Rodgers are putting up. Finding a way to win games is every bit as important to MVP consideration as stats are. Remember how many QBs passed for 5,000 and broke records last year? And yet they gave the MVP to Rodgers, who didn't even pass for 5,000 like Brees, Manning, Stafford. Why? Because they went 15-1 behind him.

Well, Rodgers went 15-1 with a horrible defense. Ryan isn't facing that situation this year and I would argue that Rodgers' strength of schedule was harder too. I agree efficiency is what matters the most.

What matters is wins. That's why we play the game.

But that's not the end all, be all qualifier for MVP.

Man WTF Joat ? so we are excited about our undefeated team, and our outstanding QB who is coming into his prime .....I guess that means we are all a bunch of delusional , sunshine seeking homers, but truly we think we got a shot to do something real special this year,... .sorry you are not on the train, but there is still time for you to defect, just renounce Cammie and her Stuperman schtick, we will welcome you with open arms, your obvious jealousy is very unbecoming of you here ......

You do have an outstanding QB and you are undefeated, but I just think you pull your regular stunt in te postseason because you'll be reletively untested.
Do something special? Just don't see it.
