YawnCutler to the Patriots - wishful idea from a bored fan.

McDaniels and NE are close !!!!

NE is known for trading away there aging players to get the BEST value for them before they start going down hill.

NE has know idea if Brady will be the same after his knee injury and he is getting old...

McDaniel's knows Brady can come right in and run his system from day 1...

Trade:

Pats get:
Cutler
2nd rounder from Denver

Denver gets:
Tom Brady!!!!!

RE: Cutler to the Patriots

keep dreaming. Denver would have to give up at least three first round picks to even have a chance. Besides i don't think the hoodie like Cutler's style of play. And the pats have a quarterback of the future in Kevin O'Connell

balto ~ Well son my initial reaction was to ignore this post however, I simply could not.  The New England forum welcomes all who obide by the T.O.S. and fans such as myself, are always interested in varying opinions and points of view.

Now ask yourself; "Does my post make any sence at all?" What answer pops up in your head?  NO, NO

My opinion is the only thing Denver had was their Coach, MS and, they could not hold on to him !

Re: Cutler to the Patriots

Just saying,

Who knows if Brady will be able to come back with his knee?  In the past not many QB's have done so well after this kind of injury.

Cutler is also very young and already a PRO BOWLER..

Someone talked about how whinny and a cry baby Cutler is being in Denver, BUT I remember Moss being a little like that too BEFORE he came to NE.

sure it will not happen, BUT with Moss and Welker I think Cutlers STRONG arm could shine!!!!

Re: Cutler to the Patriots

Cutler is one of the most overrated QBs in the league.  I could probably rattle off a list of 10 other NFL QBs I would want before Cutler.  Throws a ton of INTs, makes alot of poor decisions, and after this offseason appears to be a huge drama queen.   Trading Brady (even a Brady at 75%) for Cutler would be a HUGE downgrade.  No thanks.

Hey, I've got it. Lets trade the entire NE roster for the entire Bronco roster and they throw in a 5th round pick as a sweetener.

Cutler is a TOTAL head-case, ...

The Denver Broncos say Jay Cutler wants to get traded.
The star quarterback disagrees.
.

Glazer speaks with Cutler .

Plaxico Jay Cutler spoke to FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer on Wednesday in an exclusive interview. Check out what Glazer had to say about the conversation HERE.

Cutler spoke exclusively Wednesday night with FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer at the UFC Fight Night 18 card in Nashville that both were attending. Cutler says he was shocked the Broncos issued a statement proclaiming he was on the block after conversations with agent Bus Cook.

"I was surprised they decided to trade me this soon," Cutler told Glazer in his first comments since the statement was released. "I didn't want to get traded. This wasn't me. (The Broncos) had been going back and forth saying things, wanting me to be their quarterback and then they didn't."

"I really didn't want this. I love Denver. I really like my teammates. I didn't want it to get this far."

In a team-issued statement Tuesday, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said his attempts and those by first-year head coach Josh McDaniels to reach Cutler for the past 10 days were "unsuccessful." But in what has turned into an obvious he-said, she-said situation, Cutler claims he is the one who had not heard from the Broncos during that time. Cutler said the first time he heard from the Broncos in 10 days was Tuesday when they informed him of their decision to trade him.

DUMB DUMB DUMB

File this thread under:

I'm bored and I really have not clue what I'm talking about. Already a pro-bowler? Ok and...... One year. And has not lead his team anywhere. People say Cassel should have made the Pro Bowl instead of Favre last year. And he's gone.

Common friggen sense tells you no way no how. The Patriots could hav just kept Matt Cassel whom has 4 years in the system, why the ..... would they trade for Cutler?

Re: YawnCutler to the Patriots - wishful idea from a bored fan.

Cutler's talking out of both sides of his mouth trying to save face and save his reputation with the Denver fans just in case he ends up staying there.  He says they never called him.  It's been widely reported that McDaniels and Bowlen have been calling and texting him and he hasn't been responding.  As Bowlen said they've got the phone records to prove it.  But even if they didn't call, you would think Cutler would be interested enough in knowing what's going on to pick up the phone and call them himself.  He sure hasn't been acting like someone who loves Denver and wants to play for Denver.   For sure McDaniels has really screwed up the handling of this but what in the world does Cutler want from the guy?  He's acting like a baby and I hope he gets dealt to Oakland or Detroit or some other team that's going nowhere.

Chicago has by most media pundits one of the easiest schedules in the league. We will see how he performs in the mostly cold weather division. No more yearly trips to Oakland and San Diego. If he doesn't perform it'll be fun seeing how the Bears fans will treat the crybaby.
