Well......all I can say is that it's about friggin time! He's had about 4 opportunities so far for either TDs, or really big plays downfield and just whiffed badly on all of them so far. He seems to be okay with the sideline stuff generally, but has had a repeating pattern of not running through his routes properly and/or misplaying the ball, or letting the ball go through his hands.
In this same game (as the picture), he had a long pass down the sidelines doink right off of his helmet (where were his hands then?).
So one was this a long overdue make-up play.
Hopefully a turning point ...

FWIW, they broke down the receptions and targets through 4 games on EEI. Look how much horribly, disgustingly, inexcusably worse Lloyd is doing compared to Welker: WR Wes Welker: 25 catches on 37 targets

Im with dl, it really hasnt been a impressive start for lloyd so far, way too many dropped balls and overthrows, or too short, which seemed to be a route issue and or lloyd confused, but with it being a new team, and a complex passing game i figured it was a timing/comfort issue. Now if it it takes another 4 games for a second td u know theres a issue.

If they keep getting rushing TD's by the handfull, I could care less if Lloyd waits a month for his next one.

I agree with Dok.
If they continue to play the running game with balance and score that way, I couldn't care less how many TD's all the recievers get.
If they run like they did on Sunday Lloyd doesn't even have to catch a pass the rest of the way.
