BALLS

1.  OL.  What an outstanding job they did in taking away the Buffalo passrush and opening holes in the running game.  Probably the most complete game they have had all day.

2.  RBs.  Ridley and Bolden the first Patriots duo with 100 yards rushing each since the 1980s.  They ran hard and without hesitation.  Its nice having a running game.

3.  DL.  Wilfork in particular, with a smaller shoutout to Jones.  Wilfork was an absolute force and Jones was causing problems in the backfield again.

Honorable Mentions - 1) Brady - probably his best game of the season.  2) The rookies (Jones, Hightower, and Wilson) all had impact plays again.  3) McCourty with the 2 INTs, but his support in run defense and tackling was much better again.  4) The LBs were rock solid, except some lapses in pass defense.


GOATS

1. Gostkowski for missing 2 field goals. 

2.  The receivers (Welker, Lloyd, and Gronkowski) for fumbling, dropping balls, etc.  I know they ended up with good stats, but they made a ton of mistakes that could have been devastating.  I felt like it was Moss all over again with Lloyd when Brady was trying to force passes his way.

3.  The safety play.  Shout out all around to the CBs.  The safeties had a really bad day.

1. Brady - best game yet this season, looked like 07 version

2. Boden and ridley - both 100 yard rushing days, pounded the ball and wore out the bills d

3. O-line - Had a amazing day, with the bes tplayer out, 2 100 yard rushers, only gave up 1 sack , thats awesome

Honorable Mentions
Welker - Hes back as #1 wr , back to back great games.
Gronk - After a terrible first half that seen a fumble and a dropped pass, he got it going in the second. Lets hope this funk hes in is over cause hes been the leagues biggest disapointment so far.


GOATS

1. Secondary - Sloppy man coverage, zone was worse, 4 td's gave up over 20 Yards, thats ncaa level football.

2. Pass rush - Fitz had way to much time to throw, and when he threw, it was usually for big gains.

3. gostk - 2 missed fg's, thats not the clutch kicker he has been last few seasons, with the way the d is playing, last thing we need is to worry about a 40 yard fg being made.

Honorable Mentions

After giving up so much in the first half, the d had some nice stops, a few 3 and outs and played alot better, but gave up some passing yards and points in the 4th.

BALLS:

1) Ridley and Bolden. Power run game is back - hopefully to stay - completely changes the way teams have to defend the Pats. Bolden was a complete monster out there.

2) Brady. No mistakes, ran for a TD, led the charge.

3) Front 7 on D - so many great plays from Wilfork, Mayo, Spikes, Jones, Nink, etc. 

Honorable Mentions: Welker, Gronk - 100+ yards each; Lloyd with some nice catches; McCourty with a couple nice INT's; O-Line with awesome protection and run-blocking; Real Ref's (though I kind of miss the surreal nature of the fake refs); the 49'ers for kicking the Jets in their man-parts.

GOATS:

1) Gosti - what's up with him missing so many kicks?

2) Offense for most of the 2nd quatrer ... where'd they go?

3) Secondary - picks are nice, they're great in fact, but the DB's still give up way too many big plays.

Dishonorable Mentions: Roger Goodell - just because.

1.  Defense - Fitz passed for more yards than Brady, and threw 4 TD's (more than Brady too) - How does a team give up well over 400 total yards to Buffalo???

1. Sir Bill for the huge turnaround in the 3rd. quarter

2. Gronk and Welker for their "hands" in the 2nd. half

3. " O " line for opening up the holes for Ridley and Bolden

1. For certain and until Sir Bill shores the leakS up, look for better teams to go Air v. Patriots

2. Wait a minute. Didn't they have this problem last year too?

3.NE safties on pass coverage. Too many short gainers over the middle. 

Honorable Mentions - Bills Team for failing to close on a 21 - 7 lead.
