9'ers killing the Jets, as expected.

A little surprising to see the Lions getting beat bad by Minny.

9'ers block Jets punt - 34-0.

That's the final score ... could have been 41-0 but 9'ers took a knee at the end.

And it was a home game for the Jets - NY media should have a field day with this one.

@MMehtaNYDN: Rex says players will not report to facility Monday or Tuesday. Says they need to do soul searching #nyj

And to get shut out at home too. Looks like I have 2 games to download tonight.

Jets get the undefeated Texans at home on MNF next. Oh, sweet agony ...

Vikes win 2 in a row beating the Lions, 20-13.

Saints and Packers tied at 7.

Re: Other games today Week 4

FOX Sports analyst Jimmy Johnson called for backup Tim Tebow at halftime. Twitter also buzzed with Tebow posts. Boos rained down from the stands in the second half.

And Tebow has completed 100 percent of his passes after he went 1-for-1 against the 49ers.
.

Coach Rex Ryan said there will be no quarterback change during his postgame press conference, but his offense struggles to score against quality teams. Forty-eight points against the Bills was an anomaly.
.

The Pittsburgh Steelers held them to 10 points. It took overtime to score 23 against the lowly Miami Dolphins. Oh, did we mention receiver Santonio Holmes was carted to the locker room with a suspected knee injury. Holmes collapsed when he planted his left foot after a reception with no one around.
.

People call the Tebow situation a mess, but in reality, fans would be calling for the backup regardless of who he is. The Jets have a playoff defense. They don't have a playoff caliber quarterback.
.

"I'm not ready to make a quarterback change," Ryan said. "Obviously we've got to get better play at quarterback and we got to get better play at a lot of things. You look at yourself first and there's things we clearly all need to do.
.

"Mark's the answer at quarterback."
.

If Sanchez is the answer, there needs to be a better question.

Yeah, was just about to post that article. Rex and the Jets FO don't have the greatest track record of keeping their word, so I wouldn't count on Sanchez starting.

And if things go bad in the first half on MNF, that may force their hand. Texans were the #2 ranked D coming into today and will have a feast on Sanchez.

Re: Other games today Week 4

Broncos destroyed the Raiders 37-6. Not sure that's an indication of how good Denver is or how bad Oakland is. OAK with only 56 yards on the ground, Manning went 30/38.

Saints lose again to GB, start 0-4.

Vikes start season 3-1 ... didn't see that coming.

Looking at Ye Olde Team Stats Page, the Jets are now the 28th ranked O (Pats #1) and the 31st ranked D (Pats #7). The Jets board is actually surprisingly calm and realistic. Rex's "I won't put Revis on IR yet because we'll need him for the SB" announcement (or whatever the wording was) this week is looking very stupid in hindsight. The consensus of opinions on the board seems to be it's time to start McElroy - very few people want Tebow starting.

Rex's post-game remarks were on-target, but I don't think his anger or 48 hours of "soul searching" for the players will be enough to beat Houston this coming Monday. Revis and Holmes won't be there, Sanchez is the same as he ever was, and they have yet to show they can beat a good team.

We've lost a heartbreaker to the Raven's and another heartbreaker to the 4-0 Cardinals.  I'm feeling better about where we are right now.

5 INT's for Romo. When will Jerruh learn? I'm not much of an Orton fan, but Romo will never win a SB. Ever.

RT @jonmachota: Sean Payton asked if he'd ever like to be coach of the Dallas Cowboys. His response: "I'd rather answer a bounty question."
