Interactive Mock Draft - Patriots are On the Clock Again

Hey guys, it's time for your second pick in the interactive mock draft.

Patriots are on the clock, a lot of good options still on the board. Last time you guys chose Courtney Upshaw

You can cast your vote for who you want your team to pick here:

And if you explain why with a brief short description, I will pick the best one and publish it along with the pick in the results section!

I'm surprised so many people have Jenkins. There is no way he will even be on the Patriots board. I think they go big up front and chose Still. Poe still on the board was tempting, but I think hejaz become overrated. It looks like it will be McClellin. I think he is a round too early, but Belichick has drafted guys earlier than he should if he thinks they are a good fit to his schemes.

Boo!  I voted for Still.  I love the comment "the Pats love this guy" on McClellan.  Says who?  Pats fans maybe.  And Pats fans fall in love with these Mike Vrabel clones every year and every year the Pats don't take them and every year they go in the mid to late second round in the real draft.

I voted for Still as well. The Patriots don't draft for need - they draft BPA and I don't think McClellan is close to being in that discussion with who was still on the board. The next time Belichick reaches for a guy because of need will be his first.

I watched a few of the Boise State games on video, and I was not impressed at all. For me, it wasn't about the plays that he made, but rather the ones that he didn't. He's not a strong (physically) player, and gets pushed around a lot. AND, they don't even play a tough schedule.

I believe that the day in and day out schedule, with the best players around every week, will be too much for Shea to handle.
