I think this story in the Herald today has something to do with Vrabel being traded there.

We all love Vrabel but if confirmed this would make sense for the Pats. He doesn't have that many years left in him and if they can get some value for him in picks or another player, then it is wise to pull the trigger now.
As for the OLB position, this leads me to believe one or more of the following:
1. They are extremely happy with Woods and Crable
2. They are hoping to, and feel they will be able to, draft somebody to fill the position
3. There could be something to the rumors of a trade for Peppers.

Its killing me not knowing what is coming back for Vrable. But we are talking about a trade between Scott Pioli and BB.
we might never actually find out. It might take the CIA to get involved to actually get some info.

He had a crybaby moment because someone finally told him our team sucks and he got offeneded. The general feeling here in KC is that Waters needs to get over himself. Todd Haley told him "22 guys off the street could win 2 games." The truth hurts sometimes. Waters needs to realize we were awful last year and need to make serious changes in personel and the team needs an attitude adjustment after Herm's era of no accountability or discipline.Anyways, hopefull Vrabel can bring some much needed leadership to our team.

Maybe if the Pats gave them Cassel plus one of their own picks in exchange for a higher pick from the Chiefs, they'd be open to that.
