That looked like a veteran team taking a preseason game #2 off. There were lots of shots of some defensive starters laughing and joking around on the sidelines. If they had really come to play and that was the result, do you think they would have been laughing? Do not read too much into the preseason.
I hope in the third game they let the CBs play some man to man. For two straight games, they have sat back in a pretty soft zone coverage. I want to see what some of these guys can do when they get up into the face of a WR.
(how terrible was Sterling Sharpe? He spent 50% of his time pointing out the obvious and 50% of his time being obnoxious. A terrible night for the booth.)
