RE: Other Games Week 6

Sorry, wouldnt let me post in the text box but thought we could start one for tonights game, Giants-Bears. Not able to watch this week unfortanutely :/. And the rest of the week.

Also in college today the hype was out on the Lousvilee-Rutgers game...apparently 26 scouts from 20 nfl teams were in attendance.thd thought being to watch Bridgewater, I however have my own theory that they are all trying to figure out what the hell BB sees in these Rutgers playrrs lol

Tuck had a neck injury against the Chiefs don't know if it still bothers him but he hasn't looked right all season. Jason P being hurt and Osi being gone might have put too much pressure on Tuck.

Giants have no running game at all. Bradshaw's hard running kept the pressure off of Manning. All they seem to do now is play catch up by throwing the ball all the time. What's Eli up to now, like 15 INTs?

Didn't really think the Giants were going to be good this season, but I didn't see an 0-6 start.

I have picked the Giants every week in my "Pickem league" LOL

Every week they lose and every week I tell myself the same thing" No way can they be this bad, Coughlin will definitely have it  fixed this week."  And I pick them again, and I am wrong

I don't think anyone did.  On the other hand, that whole division looks to be one of the weakest in years.  It wouldn't surprise me to see the Giants fix a few things during their break and start ripping off a bunch of wins.  In that division, they are still not completely out of it.

I don't think he's been any different as a player since he was drafted.  He takes chances.  A lot of them work out for him.  Taking chances works more often when everything else was working reasonably well.  Now that the both the offensive line and defensive line are bad, Eli's weaknesses are hurting the team more.

Wouldn't surprise me... someone has to win that division. Giants did it 2007 with what, a 9-7 record and the went on to beat the Pats in the SB. 8-8 or 7-9 could win that division the way those teams are playing. lol

RE: Other Games Week 6

They have 2 winnable games coming up (MIN, @PHI) before their bye week. If they drop both of those and fall to 0-8, I wouldn't be surprised to see changes start to be made during that week off. They'd be looking at a 4-12 season at best in that scenario at which point you may as well start evaluating players and coaches for 2014.

Re: Other Games Week 6

I'm surprised the Coughlin-bashing hasn't started up in earnest in the NY media already. Maybe the 2 SB wins is keeping them at bay. But 0-8 heading into the bye ... there'll be nothing else Giants-related to talk about for two weeks other than axing the HC.

Coughlin is saying he plans to come back for 2014 ... but if hey go 4-12 I don't know if it's still his decision to make.

And this little completely-unrelated gem just popped up on Twitter: Dan Marino completing a behind-the-back 40-yard TD pass in practice.

Coughlin won't be back if they don't turn things around. By that, I'd think they'd have to play at least .500 the rest of the way.

He would probably get hurt or arrested if I did. I bought 3 jerseys this offseason, Gronk, AH and Hightower.

I felt bad wearing the Hightower jersey to the game last week, I almost felt like I had a voodoo doll with me, lol
