Didn't see much of the game due to a poor streaming feed ... or maybe it was the rain ... anyway ...

BALLS

- Pats Defense ... played pretty well but were left on the field way too long due to non-existent offense.
- Nope
- Nada

GOATS

- Pats Offense
- Injuries
- Rain

Re: GAME BALLS & GOATS - Week 5 Bengals

I was at the game and it was miserable man. I don't think I have ever been that wet and cold flushed

Balls:

The defense: Next week will be the challenge of all challenges but  I think they are the real deal. 14 pts a game now and we are making plays. I hope Kelly is alright because that would be a huge hit. I think we may add a DT this week, we almost have to now.

Amendola: He was limited on snaps but he did make some plays. Brady seemed to be throwing everything high or into the ground today(again the weather was terrible) but Danny looked like a guy who had missed some time but was still getting some separation.

Goats:

Coaching: First and goal at the Bengals 1 and we don't try the QB sneak? doesn't the announcers remind us every week that Brady is like 95% doing this? we settled for a FGflushed

Arrington/Gregory: I mentioned this in the game thread, these 2 were constantly out of position. To the point that I was yelling at times "Arrington, wtf are you doing get over there" and then he would give up a play. Gregory is a mess and I honestly think my 2 year old daughter could get him to commit the wrong way on a juke move

Drops: Weather sucked but guess what, the bengals made the catches when the heavy rains came in and our guys didn't.

Funny goat: bengals fans!! We were leaving the stadium and were at a red light. About 10 cops were escorting the  patriots players busses out of the stadium. That red light is kind of under an expressway bridge and an area where bengals fans tailgate. When they saw the busses coming about 10 of them ran out by the road and mooned them.

Re: GAME BALLS & GOATS - Week 5 Bengals

Packer fans do that..
Randy Moss once celebrated a TD by fake mooning next to the goalpost to mock fans that did...lol

Balls: D & our Punter

Goats: Offensive play calling and execution. Papa Gronk if true!

Re: GAME BALLS & GOATS - Week 5 Bengals

Balls

1) The Dt`s along with the rooks-are adding a new dimension of quickness and push up the field

2) Mayo and the LB`s looked sharp

3) Talib

Honorable Mentions: That Punter did a heck of a job-but such is the case when your punting in double digits. But he`s got a foot and has some accuracy.

GOATS

1) BB and that cheapskate front office for not setting up Brady with some veteran talent and filling the voids of Hernandez and Welker. Not to mention another piss poor drat of bafoons whom most of them will be cut in 2 years.

2) Playcalling-atrocious! Piss Poor-especially that sequence down at the goal-line

3) Solder was PATHETIC! He set the tone for the day by getting wasted on those play action blocking assignments.

Dishonorable Mentions: Brady`s poor accuracy-he get`s that throw on the money to amendola down at the goal line-he walks in

Blount was on his way to being an animal and seriously challenging the Riddler; instead the Riddler got to him with a cold case of fumble 'I' tus

I know, MV. There has to be a 3-line-fix that can be put in place quickly to at least throttle the ability to post new threads (and I rite kode for a living, so I'd know).

Re: GAME BALLS & GOATS - Week 5 Bengals

Looks like the Pats-Bengals thread got axed during the spam killing. No big.

The good news is the D is playing well, even with Vince on IR.

But you take away Ridley/Amendola, Vereen, and Gronk and that's a lot of the offense watching the game instead of playing in it. They managed to cover it up for four weeks, but it finally caught up with them.

I told 'Kwondo to enjoy his team rebuilding, that it can be an exciting time.
I didn't think at the time we'd be smack dab in the middle of it ourselves and to to this extent..
Moving on from defeat can be very difficult. It freaking suks to lose. I hate it. Colors aren't as bright, my shoes hurt my feet quicker, the dog gets on my nerves a little more. I swear he farts more. The trash smells worse etc..
Winning is good for a happy, confident, state of mind. Not that we can't feel it otherwise, but it just helps...;-)
