Quick Trivia Question

What's up guys, Jets fan here, but I COME IN PEACE!

There's this thing that's bothering me. Some years ago, it's prob been awhile but def the Tom Brady era...there was a defensive player on the patriots, who played really well, got a huge free agent deal elsewhere, and completely bombed. And then he came back to the pats right after and continued to play somewhat well.

I just can't think of his name, and it is killing me! Who is it?!

Thanks, but still hate you guys devil

Re: Quick Trivia Question

On March 15, 2006, McGinest signed with the Cleveland Browns, reuniting with head coach Romeo Crennel, who was the Patriots' defensive coordinator during McGinest's stint in New England. McGinest signed a three-year deal worth $12 million with $6 million in guarantees and bonuses. McGinest stated in an interview prior to the 2008 season that he would be playing his final year of professional football before retiring in the offseason. In July 2009, McGinest stated that he would like to end his career with the Patriots.[1]
.

The only one that comes to mind right now is McGinest, - but he didn't bomb out there. - He never actually played again for the Pats - but did say he wanted to retire as a Patriot. - I'll give it some more thought, ...

Re: Quick Trivia Question

TBC is the only one I can think of that came back.  But I can't really remember him ever playing well either time he was with the team.
