According to Dershowitz, the Prosecutor Suborned Perjury...

According to Dershowitz, the Prosecutor Suborned Perjury...

And should be prosecuted herself. He said that about two weeks ago when the Murder 2 charge was first brought against Zimmerman. He qualified that opinion only on the remote chance that the Prosecutor was improperly withholding evidence. Under the reported facts, this is simply not a second degree murder case. What's amazing is how many people are fixating on Zimmerman's decision to leave his car. But that fact is legally irrelevant absent additional evidence that Zimmerman provoked Martin. But even that may not be enough. What is relevant (and damning to the murder 2 charge) is that the evidence appears to be that Martin had Zimmerman pinned down and was beating the crap out of him long enough for Zimmerman to cry out about 16 times.

I agree that Zimmerman should have been charged with something, but Murder 2 is outrageous under the known facts. Never mind that a number of "facts" have been reported by the MSM  that have proven to be false. Not coincidentally, every one of those misreported facts was consistent with a white racism narrative.

Politically, by the way, Dershowitz is a life-long Democrat and there is no indication he has any personal stake in this case. He's also a highly respected expert in criminal law. More so, I'm confident, than anyone on BRO.

You got a source for that?

What "authorities" said to stay put and what words did they use? I'll eagerly await your reply.

Law enforcement in the USA would universaly advise an armed  NW person
to not pursue/confront a "suspicious person"

What is your understanding?

Re: According to Dershowitz, the Prosecutor Suborned Perjury...

Interesting that Dersh equates a "bloody nose" as "fearing for one's life"...  what needs to be proven is that Zimmerman's "fearing for his life" was unreasonable...

The worse thing about this case is the law itself... while not stating that it happened in this case... it is clearly a license to murder as shown is several other cases where people rushed out to confront and kill.

Lastly, if you are going to discuss a case... leave the opinion out and talk about evidence...   I haven't seen anything that identifies Zimmerman as the one that was screaming for help.

PS.  I hope that you don't run away from this discussion like you did our last one.

But trayvon was dumb

I mean do you even watch the news...the 9-11 call from zimmerman to cops the cops clearly states when zimmerman states hes following the person...Cop:we don't need you to do that.

But as sardonicus says that doesn't matter to the law.so maybe the law should be changed to "stand your ground if you have a gun,and don't be black like marissa alexander"

Nah title is tooo long

<PS.  I hope that you don't run away from this discussion like you did our last one.>

That discussion was over. You lost when you got your facts wrong.

Your combination of false statements and sophistry masquerading for what you seem to think is deep thinking may pass muster on an anonymous message board, but it's of zero interest to me. You are intolerant and insufferable. And, worse, really boring. I'm glad you learned about "straw men" somewhere and think it's an effective rhetorical devise.

But - enough already!

As for the Trayvon Martin case, I've read almost nothing but false statements, meaningless speculation, and Paleolithic nonsense on this Board from the outset. For that matter, the MSM has done the same thing - embarrassing itself and further diminishing its already tarnished reputation in the process . Uninformed yet emphatic pronouncements from the echo chamber. Now that the grown-ups have exposed the manipulation of evidence, deception and race baiting of the Martin/Zimmerman coverage, the evidence is starting to come out, and we are reading some objective and insightful analysis.

By the way, before the case became politicized, Trayvon Martin's Dad listened to the tape and emphatically told investigators that the voice screaming for help was not that of his son. And eyewitness "John" in a taped interview clearly described Zimmerman as the person doing the screaming. That's evidence. While it's true the FBI could not determine who was screaming based solely on an audiotape analysis, that is far from the end of the story. Finally, since we now know it was Martin who was beating up Zimmerman, it stands to reason that Zimmerman would have been doing the screaming.

I used your own statements and numbers then mathematically proved that your conclusion was a load of crap.  don't blame me for your false conclusion, blame algebra.

however, i must thank you for proving that you're incapable of anything resembling honest discussion.  it will be a time saver.

now please don't let me or math interrupt you from claiming that prop 8 passed because of the blacks based upon your 2+2=6 mathematics.  it was entertaining.

Sardonicus can you please answer a question

and i ask this in full honesty not starting a fight or anything like that.

Are you saying that because it became politized, that thats the reason so many people are fighting to prove Trayvon wasn't innocent of anything (from being a nice kid, to being a thug,to even bringing up he had weed in his system)?

I ask because when i read "I've read almost nothing but false statements, meaningless speculation, and Paleolithic nonsense" (Albeit you said it was from this board) it sounds like people who like to point out trayvon threw a punch or had weed in his system just want to say i told you so. or make it like Trayvon was the bad guy in this whole thing and his death shouldn't be talked about because he was a not nice person or in this instance he deserved it cause he had weed in him....i didn't say that you are a bad guy, just saying you do realize that people are talking about a dead person and claiming hes deserved to die because of whatever reason they can come up with.

People on this board and most comment sections on any news site kinda make it sound like, people are hoping zimmerman gets off just to show up Al sharpton or black people....one person i read actually said white people are gonna cheer like blacks did during O.J. and to me this is just me. This isn't a competition its a life lost over some bullshit. And you and others including myself need to remember this.
