1st day of rookie camp

1st day of rookie camp

Running back Denard Robinson stood out with two long runs despite the wet conditions. Robinson, who set an NCAA record for career rushing yards by a quarterback while at the University of Michigan, is moving to running back and also is working at wide receiver with the Jaguars. You saw him line up at tailback and at wide receiver. They are throwing a lot at him.

Robinson will miss the rest of minicamp to attend graduation ceremonies at Michigan. He will be the first person in his immediate family to graduate from a four-year college. He said he has at least 35 family members attending the commencement.
What a great guy!

Luke- To me will be a star plain and simple. I think the Jags are faced with an interesting problem with Monroe? I believe Luke will eventually be the LT long term. Monroe will be the RT. Luke isn't flashy but very serious on the field believe that!!!!!

The Corners ..... they are good and will be the starters for obvious reasons but they do have talent., ALOT of talent.

Sleeper ( Matt Scott )

I will have more Sunday. I will go in depth more and will be talking to players and coaches today and tomorrow! Sorry this is short but I am pressed for time. I will be interviewing former Wolverines Charles Woodson and Dhani Jones today aswell . (its my job)

Congrats on Robinson being the first in his immediate family to graduate from a four year college. Good to see young men caring about an education.

Re: 1st day of rookie camp

I gotta give it to you Hail2, Denard really seems like a class act, I really like the way he handles himself.  He's completely willing to do whatever it takes to get on the field for his team, play wherever they ask him to.  I love that he's so excited and proud of himself for his accomplishment of graduating and what I really like is that the Jags told him he didn't have to be at any of these practices b/c of graduation, but he came to the ones he could instead of taking the easy way out.

Also like that Luke is willing to play RT without any complaints, just wants to get on the field and help his team.  I like that the competitor in him said he would like to play LT some day, but he would play guard if he had to, to help his team.

Most importantly Hail2, what did you think about Cyprien??  Every report said he was incredible (Mark Long calling him "a man amongst boys).  I saw that one tremendous play he made, sounds like we have ourselves a playmaker

Re: 1st day of rookie camp

Sorry the delay, Cyprien is a beast no question when I watch him I didn't get the feeling we were getting set up just to be let down. Kind of like some radio personalities would do, tell you one thing over the air (cherry coat it) but unless you see it with your eyes, you wouldn't know any different. Cyprien so far passes the eye test.

I had to leave early from the practice and didn't go sunday, due to my wife went into the E.R. due to a back injury, she was almost paralyzed for 2 days!!!

But I will be out and about this weekend, as usual going to Everbank and Will do some digging

*side note*
Blackmon...... boys there might be trouble in the near future if he doesnt tighten up. Lets just say he still has a problem!!! (as of yesterday especially) not going to go into detail but IMHO it's f'ing childish!!!!!
