Who pays for draft prospects travel expenses?

Who pays for draft prospects travel expenses?

Like if a player visits an NFL team before the draft, who pays for the travel and hotel accommodations (if necessary)?  The school he's from?  The NCAA?  The NFL?  The team he visits?  His own pocket?

Just curious
, thanks.

I would imagine the team he visits would comp all of the accommodations. I'm 99.9% sure.

It's like going on a job interview. A lot of times, if necessary, companies will cover travel costs, hotel accommodations, and lunch, etc.

i'm sure the team pays for the lodging and dinner.

as for everything else....the agent pays a LOT of expenses for the player up front. for example, the pre-combine training is paid for by the agent (to be paid back later, of course).
