That's what you're supposed to do. Run early and often. Accept that you might not score a ton in the first half, but wear the defence out for the second half by pounding the run.

If you do that it's much easier to explode in teh 2nd half both on the ground and through the air.

At least in theory...it doesn't always work.

What it means is just because you're 6'2 doesn't mean you're "physical."

you are correct, dont know why rice is out on a 3rd and 1 running play, especially when you call a stretch play.  pierce should be a north south guy.

Definitely a touchdown. Pathetic run defense, best personified by McClain's feeble attempt at tackling a speed back by turning his back and having him bounce right off.

we are just horrible honestly.. we will be lucky to make the playoffs.. I know the next post will say "here comes the negativity" but it is pretty honest.  We are bad on offense as well.  Dont care about the last couple of games.. we look lost and we pull our best Offensive weapon out every 3rd down now

They're pathetic! Losing one player can't cause all of this. There is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

This D sucks. We let bum ass Felix Jones run like 20 yards for a TD. Ray and McClain were getting owned on that drive

Re: Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys Game thread

Lots of arm tackling.  What happened to the physical style of the Baltimore Ravens Defense? Lewis arm tackling.  Pollard reaching/arm tackling.  Backs running straight through their arms.  Have these guys gone Soft or what?  Getting Suggs back is not going to change any of this sloppy bullshit.

So basicaly you are throwing the red flag to challenge my response to his post...

And upon further review, the ruling on the thread is overturned. The poster did say 'not' with control and 2 feet in bounds. The result of the post is an accurate statement.

Champions420 is awarded the touchdown.

excited

(In other words, I made an oopsie.)

I feel the same way. I could see if our offense was on some 2011 Packers...lights out type of play but they're not and still play so-so on the road. If our offense was playing THAT good, it could make up for a horrible defense. The Patriots showed that last season.

Actually I take that back, getting Suggs back could help.  Teams are running on the edges, which would seem to mean our OLB's are not stout at the point.  They might be getting too wide.  Not sure.

Keep moving the ball, eat up clock, and put points on the board.  Can we at least count on our D for a turnover or two this game?

If you get bored during the commercials...or when we're on defence...there's a guy about to jump out of a weather balloon 120,000 feet in the air above New Mexico live on the Discovery Channel.

Interesting stuff.

Far more exhilarating than run run pass on offence and run run run run run run score on defence.

I don't know if you've seen Suggs lately on the sidelines...but he's getting pretty 'wide' himself.
