Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
We need this game, it is a must win if we want to continue to be a force in the AFC. If we beat Cincy we will both be 5-3 and with a Steeler loss to Denver it will be a 3 way tie in the AFC North. Last time we played the whole team just had a bad game in a loss but with the way our defense seems to have to bounced back and our offense is a definate threat. We win this in a close one. 27 to 21
Joe Flacco will take us to the promised land.

Unfortunately the stealers are coming off a bye next week so they should be well rested. Likewise the Bengals are coming of a bye. We need to take care of business. We can rest the following week and play our backups against the Browns.

Re: Next Up: Cincinatti Bengals
I say 23-13 Ravens this team always plays better with its backs up against the wall. Remember 30% of Plamer's yard was on one play he dinks and dunks just like Orton and is more prone to turnovers I know we can win if our team shows passion for the game. They look like they didn't want to play that game Hopefully our run D is back or we are just going to get paved into giving Benson more yards This time we have Gaither we should protect Flacco better The Bengals are at an all time high right now blowing out Benson's former team and Palmer's 5 TD this bye week could be bad for them kinda cooling them down

We have Gaither back and they lost Odom. I think the battle in the trenches is going to look much different.

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
Unlike Orton, Palmer will throw down the field. It will be a much tougher game.

If we win this game, then all we'd have to do is go 2-2 in games against the Colts, Packers and Steelers. We are going to have to bring this game to the Bengals and put this cardiac cat bullcrap to rest.

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
If we get good pressure on Palmer all day, we win, if we don't, we lose. It's that simple.

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are a very balanced offense. They will be a lot tougher to deal with than the Broncos. They block well. They run well. They have physical receivers - Henry and Caldwell. They will also look to capitalize on those areas where they had us beat last time but did not execute - namely passes to the TE. This will be a tough game. But I think having Gaither back will be huge for us as well. But if we did our homework, Todd Heap should have a huge game against these guys just like Owen Daniels. They haven't covered the TE well either.

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
Apparently, Vegas isn't sold on the Bungles, as the Ravens have opened as 3-point favorites. I'm a little surprised, considering that they've already beaten Pitt there and us here. I expected a pick 'em. Having said that, I'll be equally surprised if we lose to those bums a second time...

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
This is the most important game of the season. If we win, we can finish 11-5 if we go 2-2 vs. Colts, Packers and Steelers. 11-5 gets us in the Festivus. If we lose, its probably 10-6, with both the Bengals and Steelers ahead of us in the North, which probably won't be good enough. I disagree with the comparison of Palmer to Orton. Palmer is a down-field passer, not a dink-and-dunker like Orton. With Ochocinco and Henry, they have the talent to go over our heads. This is the type of team we struggle against. Still, with our backs to the wall, and looking for revenge, we should come out smokin, and will win if we can minimize mistakes.

Re: Next Up: Cincinnati Bengals
Biggest game of the season by far... we lose this game and it will be hard to even fight for a wild card spot... bank on it
