HORRIBLE Officiating -- HORRIBLE!!!

HORRIBLE Officiating -- HORRIBLE!!!

Are you kidding me?

Some of the worst calls/no-calls I've seen in a LONG TIME, all against the Ravens. All come at very opportune times for the Broncos. No-call on a blatant pass interference/defensive holding on Mason that was on 3rd down, the most ridiculous call on unneccessary roughness on Oher, and a total BS pass interference on Foxworth for 40 yards.

It's a f*cking joke.

I seriously think that call on Oher was the worst call I've ever seen.

Somebody needs to ******* do something about this.

Yup, we are getting hosed by the officials once again.

I sincerely believe that call on Oher was the worst call I've ever seen. That sh*t happens on every play, and all of a sudden they call it on a big run inside the 10.

It's not just against the Ravens... after reading about the NBA refs and things they did, I am sure that the same stuff goes on here.  It's very obvious, in my opinion.  A league-wide epidemic.

I hope that I am wrong, however I have a sick feeling in my stomach that before the game is over,

the refs will do something (like they do very often) and steal this game away from the Ravens and

give it to Denver.

Mason gets held and nothing, however Denver gets 2 different pass interference calls that were

much less then what happened to Mason.  AMAZING.

Anyone ever seen an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for slamming your helmet on the sideline?  That one stands out as the most absurd to me, and it was compounded by the no-call on that same play.

You're right ERIG.

Seems like the refs are being babies on that one.

told my wife when Mason threw his helmet that the Refs would act like " you want PI calls, ok, you'll get PI calls", of course they would go the other way !!!!!! the NFL is morphing into something less than physical !!!!!!!! banghead

regardless, mason still took his helmet off on the field while yelling at the ref. that's a penalty too

Mason was basically on the sideline when he took his helmet off.  He was no longer talking to the ref at that point.  Also, the referee explicitly indicated that the penalty was for throwing his helmet, at which point he was WELL on the sideline.  Players throw their helmets on the sideline in frustration all the time.  It's not a penalty to do so.

GET REAL!

You think you didnt get a favorable calls? What about the Pass INT on Royal, he got smoked way before the ball got there!

And a hold on Goodman was wishy-washy too.

The officiating was decent at worst, you guys won, get over it.

Oh my God, give me a break.

That "pass interference" on Royal was close, but it was practically simultaneous. Reed got there when the ball was practically in his hands.

You can't say with a straight face that the calls that went for Denver GREATLY outweighed the calls for the Ravens. The pass interference no-call on Mason kept the Ravens from getting a 1st down on 3rd down, and the call on Oher was an absolute JOKE. It negated a huge run inside the 10. Hell, Clady even had Suggs in a nice headlock-hold in the 2nd half that wasn't called.

You're out of your friggin' mind if you think the officiating was "decent at worst." It was a complete and utter joke. Not to mention the pass interference call on Foxworth guarding Marshall. That was absolutely terrible.

Anyway, you still suck. Go away.

agree with the last comment.  the fumble on the hit by Reed could just as easily been called a non-catch.  I've seen plays where the receiver took several steps before fumbling and they called no catch.

And how was that a bad call?

A lot of calls go either way. That's the NFL. But the call on the fumble was a good call. You can't tell me Buckhalter didn't have possession.

He caught the ball, began to turn up field, and Reed nailed him causing the ball to come out.

Sure, it could have gone either way, but it was still a good call. You're blind if you think he didn't catch the ball.

Re: HORRIBLE Officiating -- HORRIBLE!!!

Been writing about this for several years...I hoped Harbaugh would unload in the press conference, particularly since we won...always looks like sour grapes if we lose...but something is seriously wrong...I am NO conspiracy guy but the NFL needs to investigate and do a full IRS type investigation...where do these guys vacation...etc.....just horrible calls .....best game and entertainment in sports but Goodell and his people are very close to losing fans, and having the integrity of the game in danger...also the sports media has to raise Hell....was surprised how aggressive the announcers were today....anyhow....great, great wine by our guys....and it was the most important game of the year so far....and the Squeelers will get a very pissed off team at their home next week...sweet...

Visiting Broncos fans, it's important to realize that this is the fourth straight game that we've had this issue.  No matter what you believe the cause is, it gets incredibly exasperating.

It’s so much difficult to be a ref than people think it is. Until you know what it’s really like, shut up. Bad calls happen. Really bad calls happen. The league is not fixed. It is not out to get us. Calm down.
