Next up: Bengals

The regular season is upon us! It's been entirely too long since we watched real football. 10 days to go until opening day!

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!

Completely agree. We may come out and drop 30-40 on them or get killed. No idea how good we are just yet

Well, we won't have to worry about Ben-Jarvis Green Ellis. Bengals released him today. Not a surprise though.

Excessive hyperbole here........... just my opinion.

The Bengals have been disappointing in pre season. I think it's going to be close, nobody gets killed or drops 40 on anybody. Neither offense is good enough, neither defense is bad enough.

I look at some individual matchups. I think Margus Hunt will be a challenge for Yanda / Wagner. I think Brandon Williams will force a lot of double teams. He is a man child, and he and Ngata will make Smith/ Mosley/ Brown's job a LOT easier.

The line play is going to be fun to watch on  both sides. If we get beat, it will be because of the back end. That has been and remains my biggest concern for this 2014 team.

The Ravens have to get after  Farkus to  protect the secondary until Jimmy and Webby can get their legs back.

On the other side, play ball hog with long drives that end up with 6 not 3.
We may have an advantage since Pees has a pretty good idea what they do,  where as they're not sure what Kubiak will do with the Ravens.

All three injured corners, Jimmy, Lardarius, and Asa were back at practice, Franks has been released.

Franks looked good against the 3rd string. Obviously, he failed to impress the coaches.

so all the guys they brought in to win the job from Chykie couldn't get the job done.
That's pretty bad, or Brown stepped his game up.

We'll find out in 7 days.

Hopefully Chykie only sees the field from the sideline.

From the sound of things Asa will be the nickle.

Too many question marks still. I'm expecting a 24-17 type of game...Ravens victory of course. We're at home, so we need to win.

Re: Next up: Bengals

Figure this is a good place to ask this, as opposed to starting a new thread. I have to drop my wife off at BWI around 11 Sunday. To save a bit of time and hassle, as well as money, thinking of taking the light rail in. Maybe drive to North Timonium stop to use park and ride. Any one ever use Light Rail think this will work out? What is the mess like after the game. Never have uses the rail, but think it's the best option at this point. Any help/suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks!
