Bettis used to duck games against Baltimore by feigning injuries in practice the week before they were to play. Helped his longevity, unlike Eddie George who manned up and took his punishment.

Now if anyone could find the Shannon Sharpe TD against the Broncos in 2001 when Sam Gash put Romonowki 4 rows deep into the sideline...  I cant find it anywhere.  My second favorite play in Ravens history besides Jacobys catch against them.

Still my all-time favorite, possibly because it was our first playoff game. I was so in awe of that hit, I missed the touchdown.

Jerry knows who flatten his tires that night even if stealer fan wants to minimize Bettis getting destroyed.  And no he didn't even come close to making a first down.
4 yards short.

Funny how after that he seemed to come up with some aliment the week  they played Baltimore..

This one is a personal favorite of mine.  It's not the biggest hit, but perfect timing and a game-ending play, a "walk-off tackle", if you will.

I remember watching this on the big screen on Fountain Square in Cincinnati.  The Bengals game was over and they put this game on during a downtown festival with thousands of Bengals fans watching it and cheering for San Diego.  I had my purple on and was absolutely loving it.

That play just about sums up the later part of his career.  He was just on a completely different level of field awareness than everyone else.  He had the snap count, the play, the direction, everything.  Might as well have been in the offensive huddle.

From a team viewpoint, Dawan Landry was also right there.  That play had absolutely no chance of success.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!

The Hines hit against Ed Reed was better.

For me the flat out best hit in the Pitt-Balt series occurred in 2003 in the game that Jamal was going for
2000 yards. Hiney hole Ward caught a 3 yard pass(from Maddox I think) on 3rd and 8 and was immediately obliterated by CMac! He got up with the patented fake smile on his face playing up to the cameras and then came over to the sidelines and collapsed!!! We gave him so much crap---IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
