ESPN reporting Ravens and Harrison to negotiate today

Sorry on road....can't post link. Saw it on Twitter. Apparently, Pees and Harrison go way back from their days at Kent St. I don't know how I feel about this pending move. If they sign him, it better just be a 1 or 2 year deal similar to Spears' contract.

Link to ESPN article about Harrison and Pees.  I honestly had no idea about this.

Only way Harrison signs with us is if its cheap. It gives him a chance to stick it to the steelers twice a year.
Other then that he should get more money elsewhere.
Talk's cheap. Let's go play!"- Johnny Unitas of the BALTIMORE Colts

Very good point indeed. I'd still take him as a pass rush specialist

I see where the article says they will talk to the agent today, but not where they are actually negotiating... Ravens may just say no thanks

Don't argue with an idiot;  people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I think if he signs and Ozzie low-balls him, with incentives, he is essentially Kruger on passing downs.

Word is that Dean Pees was Harrison's head coach at Kent State.  Apparently they butted heads at first, but eventually Dean Pees helped Harrison turn his life around and grow into the player he is today.  They were so close that he would walk into his house unannounced and ask his wife what was for dinner.

Either he wants to reunite with his beloved coach, or pay him back for what he did for his career.

If healthy, the guy is a force.  I'd be down for a 1-2 year deal priced right.

Regarding him being disruptive, I've never heard of him being a locker room problem or challenging the coaching staff like Pollard.

Nobody's getting $6-8 million. We didn't cut Boldin so that we could pay outsiders his money.  They'll have to take less than that for us to start talking.

Wow Jameson Hensley or should I say Scott Templeton. I hope you send Judy Battista part of your check as you blatantly ripped off her article from October 2010.

Didn't he used to work for the Sun? Next thing you know he will claim Harrison called him personally about being in a wheelchair not being able to get into the ballpark for Orioles opening day after cutting class.

Yeah but the thought of a motivated Harrison breaking Big Jen in half can help negate that

We know they've already talked earlier in the week.  Harrison may be just trying to get whatever deal he can get at this point.
