Heath Evans says he's concerned about the maturity of QBs

Heath Evans says he's concerned about the maturity of QBs

Asked on NFLN TA by the girl with the great legs about whether he is concerned about Cam Newton's maturity, he responded

If your name is not Brady, or Rodgers, or Roethlisberger, or one of the Manning boys and you are a QB in this league you have to be concerned about maturity...

Evans is one of the worst talking heads on any network.

NFL Network (and ESPN...but NFL Network is worse) needs to get next to the reality that just because you were a player, and can speak in semi-coherent sentences, that doesn't make you a strong analyst.

Yeah it was really mature of Brady to dump his pregnant girlfriend for a new girl. And it's so damn immature of Flacco to marry his high school girlfriend and have his second kid on the way at age 28, with both kids coming after love after marriage.

I can't stand Heath Evans. Him and I had a war of words last year on Twitter when he said he'd take Alex Smith over Flacco and that it "wasn't even close" because Alex Smith has always been consistent.. WTF? Alex Smith has almost always been garbage.

He had to apparently take his twitter account down after he got caught trying to hook up with chicks even though he's married.

REAL mature Heath.

He definitely is a douche. I try not to let these clowns bother me, but this "hack" definitely rubs me the wrong way. He's pretty damn full of himself for being nothing more than a mediocre fullback for his career.

What I can't figure out is why he has such a "hard on" for the Ravens. There has to be something in his past that would motivate him to show such continuous disdain for our franchise. There is no objectivity in his reporting when it comes to us. He rivals Merrill Hoge for his anti Raven sentiment.

Anyone know the issue ?

He played for the Patriots i believe at one point in his legendary career...so he feels entitled to speak of the so called Patriot Way. Everything the Ravens do is awful in the minds of some analysts because of something that happened to a player 12+ years ago. I dont need his seal of approval for my team.

If the Ravens played a game vs. a team in the Lingerie Football League, Heath Evans would pick against the Ravens.

Heath Evans is a clown.

What is a three letter word for "armed conflict" that start with a "W"?

(See, sometimes war IS the answer)

Apparently too many hits to the head in his playing days.  Someone needs to order an MRI.

I've come to the conclusion that idiots in sports reporting is just something that always will be. Most real journalists pick other areas to focus on. There will be a few good ones, but the rest of the seats will be filled with hacks, homers, ex-players and recognizable names... regardless of intelligence. In the case of on-air personalities, ad people who can speak on camera and read from a teleprompter. Heath is just another below average ex-player who wouldn't even sniff the set of any show on television were it not for the fact that he played pro ball. Who cares what he thinks?

I'm concerned about the maturity of talking heads on NFLN and ESPN.

Its crazy, the difference between some ex-player analysts and others.

I would have to say my two favorite are Troy Aikman and Willie McGinest.
