Man, that's just going to be weird.  I think it's the right time for him though.  Here's hoping he comes back to coach with the Ravens in some capacity.  Baltimore loves you Ray.

Yup.  I actually have tears in my eyes.  Sunday will probably be the last time he runs out of the tunnel.  Man, that's gonig to be tough.

I will definitely save my playoff ticket.  This is the last time we get to see his pregame dance.  It gives me chills thinking of the crowd reaction!

I think this was pretty clear when they didn't IR him this season.  He has one last dance; be in your seats on time.

Yeah, this is surprising.... then again, it's not.  Just sad.  Some people you just wish could play forever.  Ray has been the heart and soul of this team since he was drafted.  I'm going to miss him on the field.

Very sad and end of an era! We will be  seeing him giving his acceptance speech in 5 years in Canton. I had said 30-13 Ravens, but now I will go with 40-13 Ravenscool

Be careful.  When emotions run too high, it can back fire.

Re: Lewis Retiring After season...

This is some serious motivation for this team and the fans of Baltimore.  I feel more emotion about this game being very potentially Ray's last in Baltimore than I do about it even being a playoff game. It seems to overshadow playoff implications.

They should play Ray's inner harbor speech prior to leaving for Tampa for the SB in 2000 before the game.  It was one of the first times I heard "What time is it"?  from him.

Re: Lewis Retiring After season...

I think deep down the Ravens fans knew that this could very well be his last season. Last year there were rumors that he had considered retiring then so it does not come as a complete surprise to me.

As a grown-ass man is it wrong that I almost started crying? It's really gonna be hard to see him come out the last time.

It's his time.

Going to be tough though knowing we're seeing the last game(s) of a legend.

Cheers Ray, to hoping you go out in style with another ring :)

That's IF they let him come out.  They've alternated Offense / Defense intros for a few years, and it's the offense's turn.

Hope Harbs let's the D come out.... Or it might be something where the Pro-bowlers are introduced, then the offense, and then Ray.

It's a home game in the playoffs, we'll already know if it's the last game of the season at home (Bengals play on Saturday, but even still, Bengals will not beat the Broncos), and it's Ray's last run with the team.  There is NO WAY he doesn't come out of that tunnel last, offense introduced or not.

Ravens need to find a way to bring this man to New Orleans.  Whatever it takes.

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!!

So that the game can begin on time, they should only introduce him and the let the crowd go wild for ten minutes!

I think Ed will retire since Ray's now calling it quits.  He's had enough injury issues past few years, can see him just not coming back.

Definitely surreal. But I'm happy for Ray. Never saw a player in my lifetime just give his heart and soul for his team, the fans, and the city of Baltimore. I am happy knowing that I got a chance to witness play the greatest MLB of all-time. I can not even imagine or fathom what the emotional level will be like on Sunday at the Bank. Ray, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Wow, as not-terribly-surprising as this is, it's still tough to imagine that Sunday will be Ray's Last Dance.  I was there for his first game vs. Oakland back in '96, and have only missed a handful of his games in Baltimore since then.  This Sunday is going to be very special.  I think I'll go without speaking all day on Saturday so my voice is really ready for the game - Ray deserves our best efforts this weekend!!!
