Not sure if its even a factor...both teams really have nothing to play for, so both teams could possibly roll over...could be a serious sandlot game in the making

Is there anything riding for any NFL team on the outcome of this game.... In other words if we lose and some other team wins they are in the playoffs, or if we win and someone else wins they are in the playoffs as a wild card team....
Just want to know if this game is TRUELY meaningless to not only us but the rest of the NFL teams trying to get into the playoffs as a wildcard.....

Bryan Hall should be in rotation more, especially on 3rd down. He has the ability to knife threw the line unlike most of our DT's

I agree that a forward motion in the throwing arm hill still controlling the ball should be a forward pass. However, once the QB makes the decision to keep the ball, the "pass" is over and the QB reverts to a "runner," ie, that should be a fumble, but due to a bad rule it isn't.

It was added to the rule book in the offseason after its first, unannounced and seemingly ad hoc application in the AFCCG between NE and OAK. Handed the Pats and Brady that first AFC championship.

I don't think running the option is that great of a thing in the NFL. Sure, it's a nice change of pace very once in a while, but it's completely unnecessary 99% of the time.
Today, it lets us keep the clock moving.
