The Texans

The Texans

Hello,

Ravens fan here. Just wanted to stop by and give my props to the Texans. You guys are the real deal this year. I would have to say you guys are the team to beat in the AFC thus far. The Texans offense has always been lethal with Schaub, Andre Johnson, Arian Foster etc. Now, the defense came into its own last season and really is dominant thus far in 2012. J.J. Watt is a beast and DPOY thus far even though it is early. I'd have to say you guys are a step ahead of my Ravens so far. Already have Oct. 21st circled on my calendar. That will be a great game with the Ravens and Texans showing a possible preview of the AFC title game. The Ravens not having Suggs is showing up big time. Maybe we will have him back by that Oct. 21st game but we'll see. The AFc is a meat grinder this year with the usual cast of characters. Ravens, Steelers, Patriots, Chargers, Texans and up and coming teams like the Bengals and possibly the Chiefs.

Re: The Texans

Thank you sir.
Your Ravens are looking really solid as well and everytime I see y'all play, I see ex Texans starters playing well for your team.
Bernard Pollard, Vonta Leach, and now Jacoby Jones.
We still have some tough games to go against some great teams.
Packers, Ravens, and Patriots to name a few.
Our division is not very good so our path to the Playoffs is alot easier than what y'all have in the AFC North.
Looking forward to the showdown at Reliant in October.
Again, thanks for the props.

Yes, that Oct 21st game will be armageddon for sure. Ravens "D" definitely isn't what it once was and losing Terrell Suggs has hurt us a lot. We (Ravens fans) knew this going in but we need Suggs badly. Ironically, Suggs is due to come off the PUP list and could play that week 7 matchup. I for one do not think he will be back by then even though there has been a timetable set for Suggs to return - it is just the Ravens FO is being hush-hush about it. But here is to you guys having a great season!

RE: The Texans

Ravens fan here as well...the Ravens had better be ready for a very serious effort from the Texans.  I'm sure the Texans have had this game circled for many months.  Imo a Texans win here puts Houston in elite status in the AFC, and the frontrunner for the AFC rep in the S.B.
