Read in today's blog that the Texans brought in John David Booty and another QQb Anyone have any idea as to why and who they would replace Grossman Or Orlovsky or are the Texans looking to next year

or was it just standard procedure

Titans signed QB John David Booty to their practice squad.

The move doesn't indicate any immediate plans for the active 53-man roster. Booty simply becomes the team's No. 3 quarterback behind Kerry Collins and Vince Young. Collins, by the way, appears likely to start in Week 8.
