Mock Draft
If we sit tight with our six picks I am leaning towards this:
1. Luke Koechly LB 2. Vinny Curry DE 3. Ladarius Green TE 4. Robert Turbin RB 6. Best OLB or CB available 7.Best OL available
If we trade back then it changes things all together. Lets hear your opinions.

RE: Mock Draft
Hope we can aquire Jonathan Stewart for Obo or butler + or 4th rd pick. Then trade back in the first. Round 1. Shea McClellin DE Boise St. (same size as coples, except this beast has a motor) 2a Lavante David OLB Nebraska 2b Janois Jenkins CB N. Alabama 3 Tank Carder MLB TCU
Other names I like are Hightower, N. Perry, C. Jones, M. Kendricks, Kirkpatrick, D. Martin, C. Polk, v. Curry

RE: Mock Draft
I think you can acquire Stew for pretty cheap compensation in next years draft. The thing is he would have to be signed to a deal or he could walk next year in free agency. I'm thinking a 4th rd pick on a guy like Turbin and a 4 year rookie deal makes more sense than trying to get Stew to sign a contract to stay that makes sense for the hawks. I wouldnt make the trade without a contract extension in place since we just gave a big deal to Lynch.

RE: Mock Draft
We don't need Stewert. We have Lynch, Stewert will want a starters salary. It would lead to nothing but trouble. We are fine at RB, can draft a rookie late in the draft for depth.

RE: Mock Draft
I would hardly say we are fine at RB. If Lynch goes down for any length of time, who picks up the slack? We need a guy in the 3rd or 4th for sure.

RE: Mock Draft
First thing first We wouldn't go through with a trade for Stewart if he thought he is making more then Skittles! and that is just one option, and at the same time of it costing us a a descent WR, or play + draft pick, Stewart is proven and a local guy. I'm also really like the early backs Martin, Wilson, Polk, Turbin ( Lynch Clone), Pead. Also hope Bryce Brown goes undrafted and we bring him in for a look.

RE: Mock Draft
Back when Stewart was drafted, I really wanted us to get him but knew there was no way he'd drop that far. While I still like the guy, I'd rather we not trade to get him. It would be best to keep our picks and spend the money elsewhere. Whoever we draft could be just as good (or better), give us more years, and cost us a lot less.

RE: Mock Draft
That is my point TC. Stewert would cost us too much money, even if he doesn't cost us a draft pick. He would make too much money for a backup. Money we could use in other areas of need. Why not just pick up a guy with high potential in a later round.
