Houshmanzadeh

I'm starting to think that Housh is getting into Hasselbeck's head when he's over there crying on the sidelines about not getting the ball.  It seems that Matt is not looking his way very often and that's pissing Housh off, but i have to think that it's causing some bad locker room vibes.  I know Housh is super competative, but he's got to stop with the crying and tantrums.  That only breaks the team apart.

TJ had this history in Cincinnatti for what it's worth.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

Remember when he b***hed about  his speed rating in madden?

Maybe if he actually had the speed he thinks he has there would be enough separation on his routes for Hass to find him in the 2 seconds he has before this crap line repeatedly collapses...

That said I like Housh and once he and Hass finally get on the same page he very well could be like engram but with better measurables...Just keep the whining on the sideline!! If it progresses into the huddle or the media then we have a real problem on our hands...

I just hope it's not infecting the locker room...  I can't help but think that maybe some of the issues with TJ and Matt are because of the whining...

i personally think it's because very much like darrell jackson,Housh seems to freelance to open space without neccesarily keeping the traditional option routes that hass is reading as his first option. Which may explain why hass is hesitant to throw to TJ unless its a short curl or cross or he's WIDE open.

That's probably the reason...it makes sense.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

To be honest though Houshmanzadeh had a right to be mad Sunday. If you look at the game he was open more than one time and he ran his routes the right way. And Hassleback never found him instead he threw to some other reciever who had three or four guys on him. So if I was in Housh shoes I would be mad too.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

Housh is competitive. While I don't like his sh*t talking to other teams the week before the game, I don't mind him getting fired up. Hell, more people should be throwing fits on the sidelines. We aren't even getting close in games; we're getting blown out. People should be pissed. It's not fun, and it's emberrasing to players.

On that play, Housh was actually right. Hass threw him the ball to the inside, where the CB had position. If he would've thrown it high and to the sidelines, Housh would've been open. Now, Housh was heading to the inside, so it would've been a tough adjustment, but that is why Housh went and talked to Hass about it, probably telling him that he can make that adjustment, which maybe 10% of the WR's in the NFL can.

Somehow or another they need to get on the same page, because they could be dynamic.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

I don't think Housh is affecting Hass quite the way our horrible OLine is.

However, Housh is carrying on like a little girl, and he will not gain the respect of  his teammates and coaches by doing that. Terrell Owens who is having a horrible year is actually behaving better.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

Hasselbeck is a rythem timing passer... that is what the WCO is all about.... why can't they get on the same page? they can't get on the same page because housh doesn't want to make that adjustment.... thats my take on it.... the guy just thinks me me me me and that doesn't work.... So much for a team built on character.... I just feel sorry for Hasselbeck the guy is just getting his a$$ kicked cause there is no O line and then has to deal with a whinny b!tch like Housh I mean Doushmanzadeh... LOL

Did you guys see during the bye week Doush was on the Mora show and was saying how hw did care what the fans thought..... does anyone have that video?

Hold on Hass the calvery hopefully is coming next year...

I don't agree with your assesment of jackson he was a great route runner and hasselbeck and Jackson were automatic

Re: Houshmanzadeh

Or, he could just be a competitive guy that is talking to Hass about getting on the same page. But, nah, it has to automatically be negative.

Incidentally, I think he's right. obviously the CB was in good position where Hass threw the ball; if he would've went higher and thrown to the pylon, it would've been a TD. Housh came from Cincy, where they lost a lot the last couple of years. He thought he was going to a winning team with a tradition of division championships. I can see him being pissed about it, and trying to get fired up.

We need a lot more guys on this team to get fired up, both on the field and at eachother. We're starting to get a losing atmosphere here and we need our Hawks to rage against that all that they can. Just like the Cardinals had to break out of a losing attitude, so do we.

Re: Houshmanzadeh

I don't mind competitiveness, but I hate, hate, hate the optics of a wide receiver showing up a quarterback. There's an interesting sign currently hanging outside the Chiefs' locker room at Arrowhead Stadium.
