Jets @ Seahawks Gameday Thread (Week 10)

vs.

Our Seattle Seahawks are 5-4, 4-0 home and entertain the 3-5 New York Jets this upcoming Sunday in Seattle. A win against the Jets would be nice and help us in our quest to make the playoffs, plus a win going into a bye week would be nice. I hope Tim Tebow plays because of the hype behind his name, but we should beat the NY Jets no matter who starts at quarterback for the Jets. Pete Carroll gets to face off against his old QB at USC in Mark Sanchez and I'm sure that will be fun. Also, Marcus Trufant and his little brother Isaiah Trufant (NY Jets cornerback) will be facing off against each other too.

The game is live on CBS at 1:05pm PST.

GO SEAHAWKS!

Trufant brothers taking over CenturyLink Field

Nice to see the Trufants having success as a family and in football. I'm sure Sunday will be a special day for their family.

Re: Jets @ Seahawks Gameday Thread (Week 10)

I've noticed you post throughout the games.  I don't tend to post during the games because I'm too busy watching the game and enjoying that.  (In fact, I don't remember if I ever have.)  I just check few sites to find what news I can before the games.  Every analyst I heard this morning (ESPN, NFL network) picked the Hawks to win today.  I hope they don't get the press coverage and take the Jets lightly.  I disagree with you on Tebow (and I think the media does as well.)  I DO NOT hope Tebow plays.  I've seen plenty of him (typically rooting for him.)  That would likely give the Jets a BETTER chance at competing.  They have to run the ball today... ground and pound.  PNW people like to hate Tebow (others as well - he's polarizing.)  But, he's a winner.  I'll leave it at that... other than to say that the same thing has been said about "too-short" RW.

I fell asleep watching the Cougs playing like a team my boys Pop Warner teams could beat.  Looks like they made a comeback of sorts?  Or, was that garbage time?  Probably no chance of seeing highlights of that one.  Boy, I don't know about Leach.  Best player on the team quits because of the coach?

Probably not supposed to cut and paste from other sites (other than the link).  I only cut and paste a portion of a much larger report (Seahawks only), so hopefully that is fine with those who would raise an issue.  Probably will only post a link next time along with my comments.  But, since it's a small portion of the report... probably ok.  here's the link to give the credit where due: http://www.nfl.com/inactives

Mark Sanchez starts for the NY Jets and the Jets are moving the ball. Jets are showing a Wildcat offense.

DEFENSE! DEFENSE!

I try to post during the games and it would be nice to see more 12th men active on gamedays haha. I heard what you're saying about Sanchez and Tebow, but I feel Sanchez is your prototypical QB. We'll see when Tebow comes in, but I think it's when the Jets are in short down situations or on the goal line.

Cougs did come back vs UCLA, but we still have some ways to go. Wilson did leave and he said he didn't quit on his teammates, but he did. Everyone and their momma has wanted to talk to me about it, but it's been draining and I decided to move forward. GO MIKE LEACH! If the allegations are true, then I'm sure WSU's AD will do what he needs to do, but I think Marquess just wanted a little spotlight and didn't like working hard.

False start!

114th since 2005 at CenturyLink Field. Most in the NFL during that stretch.

Go 12th man!
