Hmm, Vic. Didn't the Colts win the Superbowl that year after that game? I especially love this quote at the end of the article: "It's very difficult to win a Super Bowl without a respectable defense, even when Manning is your quarterback." I wonder how this article is still around? I would think Vic would want it buried! |

I copied that entire article, went to the Jags website, and in the "Ask Vic" segment i copied it in the question box and then blasted the guy lol. I blasted him earlier this year after the week 1 game as well and he actually posted my comment on his segment. He went on and on about how bad we were in that game in his live blog whenever we had a negative play, but as soon as we creamed Garrard on that last drive he closed up shop and was out of there with few words. He also made a comment before that game about all the speakers hanging down and said "that must be how they pipe in the noise". The guy is an arrogant a**.

This guy has been clueless for many years and represents that franchise very well. I really don't feel like wasting my time in order to research any of his older crap, but I seem to recall him making a big deal about the Colts leaving Baltimore in the middle of the night...yadda, yadda, yadda. Considering his roots are with the Steelers, you would think that he would have at least shown the smallest bit of respect for Dungy during his tenure. He obviously has sour grapes towards the Colts success and just bashes them to make himself feel better about covering a dead end franchise. It seems like he writes more about the Colts instead of the Jaguars...Indy is his huckleberry.

It's pretty obvious that Vic's let's his dislike for the Colts get in the way of any real objectivity. If you actually go read the forums over there they have a thread about how the AFC South should be realigned and they want the Colts out of the division, If you can't beat em, Move em. |
