So over 80% of poster falls between 41-60 years old. LOL I wouldn't have guessed that by the tone of this board at time, although this probably isn't enough for a solid sampling. You would think the overall board would be more laid back based on majority age group ( at least this poll ) but then again they say the older we get more we'll speak our minds.....LOL.

Enjoy it while you can. If you think  28 went by pretty fast, the track to 50 is twice as fast.....

I remember joining this board when I was 17-18 years old. Seems like a lifetime ago!

LOL. I suspected this board was full of old geezers. It makes my trolling that much more hilarious considering that I'm getting a rise out of posters who should be mature enough to show self restraint.

Hawk played high school football with Danny White, didn't he? So 62 +/- 4 years?

Same here, bud. I turned 30 in June and I joined back in the Summer of '03. I was 19, haha.

Time flies. I get all sentimental, too. There are guys one this board I've been shoot the breeze with for long than anyone I'm friends with in my offline life. I was flying around, working in restaurants, moving town to town... then one day I looked up and pulled a Keanu Reeves and went: "Whoa."

It does my heart good that a social pariah like you follows me around. I was in Laos in 1972. Do the math Einstein!

Wow, I didn't know they had that kind of hi-def photography way back in 1972... what's the exact date of that photo, hoss??

I ask because according to Vietnamwar.net, quote:

What's even more interesting is it appears that they are holding rifles that didn't exist during the Vietnam war. Those look like M-4s and M-16A2s. Didn't the original M-16A1 make its debut in the Vietnam war?

They started out with the A1 and then added the forward assist when the weapons kept locking up thus the A2.

And the different firing modes. Those A1s were fully automatic, no?
