Eason commits to UGA

Eason commits to UGA

Just seen this on multiple sites. Including Ann Hickey tweets. Losing on QB's, so who is our next choice.

Re: Eason commits to UGA

-its July 19th 2014. The earliest he could be on ANY campus is January...2016.

-obviously Eason is/was on NDs radar as a legacy...but I have serious doubts about him being NDs first choice.

-If Malik Henry commits/signs elsewhere Feb 2016...ill begin to worry.

Best of luck to the kid...wherever he lands.

+1

And hopefully we'll drown our sorrows with a top-level dual threat QB.

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said. "It feels great that we're the first team in the history of Notre Dame football to shut out a Michigan team... But there's no question, I would be lying if to tell you that it doesn't feel great to shut out Michigan 31-0."

Re: Eason commits to UGA

With golson having two years left and zaire having 4 years left its going to be tough for nd to pull in a top level qb these nexct couple years. Hell its going to be tough to keep kizer from leaving. This is where kelly needs to go get a 3 star kid with raw talent and a high football iq who can come in sit for a few years and hopefully he never has to play. we need to pretty much recruit another tommy.

At least an athlete that could be moved & used at another position after spacing a couple of years of top quality QB's.

This is exactly what we need for this year. Nothing more, nothing less. A program kid who can step in if **** hits the fan with injuries but is content being a backup at a big time school until he can transfer his 5th year and try to start.

Malik Henry, Jawon Pass, Shea Patterson. All big time talents, all have very high interest in ND.

Tommy could just shave his 'stache and put his old jersey back on. Call himself "Timmy Reece" or something, dude looks like he could still pass for 19 years old.

Why not? The west coast power teams USC/UCLA/Stanford/Oregon haven't offered yet.
And his bio page doesn't show Oregon as a school of interest.
And with USC & UCLA both (at this time) having commits from from top 5 rated QB's, he maybe looking for a slimmer QB roster.

He's a USC legacy and believed to be theirs if/when they offer. Both schools are looking at him very hard, but are waiting on Malik Henry (who is not coming to USC). If Henry heads to the Midwest or BYU, Costello is going to UCLA.

If USC doesn't ultimately offer, which is doubtful but possible. He's USC's to lose.

Everybody is waiting on Henry, who is the best QB in California this year. Personally, I think Costello is overrated.

I think Henry is the best HS QB in the country right now.
