Another season like last year, nsd surprise would be Muschamp still having a job.

I read a free story on this kid on another site.  If Diaco were here we wouldnt have him.  They basically said that when they met with Diaco he was arrogant and had very little interest In him because of his size.  Cooks did a great job on getting us back In his mind and totally turned It around for us.  He was once a UM commit and grew up a Wolverine fan because of his Dad.  You have to admire his father though, when asked about the UM fan fave aspect he said something to the effect of "He knows I love him no matter what and I just want him to go to a place that fits him best, he needs to make this decision for himself and he knows that."   Now that Is how a parent should handle their childs recruitment.  Shows his parents must have a lot of trust In him as well.  I wont lie, his height (5'9") does kinda bother me.  But, just like there have been great short QBs, there have been some really good DB's that were on the short side.

I would not guess OSUe, that SC first verbaled to Michigan suggests he has already thought long and hard about the BUG.

But I just noticed his initials are SC.

A bit undersized for a safety, but could be a physical corner.  Someone please link.  Thanks. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/936413/shaun-crawford

Re: We're on a roll, Shaun Crawford commits!

Is it confirmed he was recruited largely to play corner? Clearly he's skilled at the position based on his position ranking, but he seems to do a lot of the things offensively we had hoped Davonte Neal would bring to the table. Maybe not as quick initially, but runs away from people after receiving the ball in a variety of ways on his tape.

Im gonna go out on the limb here and say that while guys under six foot at corner may be acceptable for Cooks, BVG and BK, we will not see anyone at S under six feet.

Id say corner Is all he was recruited to play.  I could easily be wrong though.  His high school team uses him all over the place.  Watch his highlight film and you will see him returning kicks, blocking kicks, playing WR,CB and RB.  I would have liked to see more film on him strictly at corner because there Isnt much of a sample there.  Kinda reminds me of Randle Cobb with less burst than Randle.

You don't think Fertitta is going to get run at S?

ND is turning into celebrity U. I can realistically see Dana White on the sidelines at some point.

I think he will return punts/kicks right away and play some nickel. Eventually he will do all that and play some receiver.

Didn't USC have a short CB a few years ago that shut down Floyd?

Correct, I wasn't referring to playing another defensive position, just possibly getting touches on offense in various ways.

Re: We're on a roll, Shaun Crawford commits!

It's ridiculous to think Diaco wouldn't want this kid because he's not the perfect height. When I watch a commit's highlight video, I usually make it 30 seconds in and lose interest, but this kid is fun to watch. He's so aggressive!

There are very few Richard Sherman's in the world. Notre Dame can't pass on CBs with this guy's offer list because he's not 6'0".

5'11" Is close enough to 6 feet for me to overlook that one.  Besides Im sure he will be listed at over six feet If/when he plays.
