5'9"? That doesn't fit BK's prototype for a CB. I'll wait until I see it officially announced

Yep, you have to consider the source in the OP.

With Nicco that Gives ND two 5'9 corners. Who is a little worried about matching up with teams like Texas A&M with three or for WR's 8 inches talker that can jump?

After seeing #15 standing next to #86 in the Fiasco Bowl I think Diaco had it right.

I don't think Texas A&M is a consideration for the staff when it's a one in thousands or millions that they'll face that team while these kids are on campus.

Reading on some other sites. It actually might be Taylor. Loy says that a commitment has occurred. But won't be announced for 24-48 hrs. To give the recruit time to.call the other coaches that were recruiting him.

That's who I think it is as well, but it also seems like Crawford has been a silent for a little over a week. Either way, I'm happy.

Teams don't build their rosters around playing one team that they MIGHT face. Now, if you had said something about trying to match up against some of FSU's big receivers, then you might have had a bit more of a point, but you still have to face the other eleven teams on the schedule as well...

Either way, Crawford isn't currently committed as far as I can tell, but his height clearly isn't a concern to the staff. He'd likely end up as a nickel CB in this defense. That's a pretty important role going forward, but it doesn't put him on an island.

Not only that, I think there a couple of sub 5' 10" players in the NFL that say people are incorrect about short being a disadvantage.

If you have speed, very good hip flexibility, good vision, can cover, possess makeup speed, have a nose for the ball and can make plays, you will be just fine

Fertitta was recruited as a Safety & is listed as 5'11"  200 lbs.
However there are some who say he isn't  5'11", not sure if he's lighter than listed either.
