How long untill ND leaves the ACC?
Pretty strong rumors in the comming weeks UVA, UNC and Ga Tech will be added to the B1G, FSU to the B12 in the works, and Miami is facing the death penalty for getting hit with LOIC
Although it doesn't bother Football unless the ACC forces ND to join in football, it would be Va Tech-Clemson and a bunch of nobodies. and in Basketball it would look even worse then Football by a huge margin losing UNC.
if the 4 teams leave and Miami is hit with an SMU like penatly does ND stay in the confrence or look to join the B12 or B1G?

RE: How long untill ND leaves the ACC?
Personally i think all ND fans really want ND to join the B1G. There is just this love for the B1G that's understandable. Is that what you wanted to hear? I'm glad we are discussing this again.

Re: How long untill ND leaves the ACC?
Yes, it's absolutely true that FSU, UVA, UNC, and GA Tech are leaving the ACC.
I understand there is also a strong rumor that dOSU will leave the BIG and join the MAC because they play so many of their teams already. Makes good sense.

We would be, along with Northwestern, a very small school compared to the big Land Grants, and like almost everyone else, subject to dictates of Michigan and dOSU. Besides, it's nothing particularly against the BIG, it's just that culturally and historically we cling to our independence, which pisses them off to no end. Spending weekends in venues like Champaign, Bloomington, Madison, Iowa City, Lincoln, etc. is boring as hell compared to playing a national schedule. It's bad enough going to Lansing and Lafayette every other year.

Is because of the black balling from OSU and UM to exclude us from the B1G.

No but i do think ND should have waited another year or 2 before jumping into a confrence, especially one that could be losing 2-3 charter members by the start of football season

Re: How long untill ND leaves the ACC?
Here is the only question ND fans on this board truly care about:
How much longer will we have to endure dipsh1ts coming here and bringing up the futhermucking "ND to a conference" topic?
Go back to hineygate (gayest forum name on scout btw) and discuss this. Bringing it here just makes you a trolling sh1t-sipper.
PS Yet another reason to hate O$U and its fans...as if we needed more.

Re: How long untill ND leaves the ACC?
They have leveled "LOIC" charges against Miami, but I don't think it'll go through. The way the NCAA got its evidence in the case is illegal by their own bylaws. All Miami has to do is counter-sue and take the issue to court and the NCAA will be forced to back down.
I don't like it. I believe Miami should get punished severely. But the reality is the NCAA dropped the ball on the case.
