Re: When is our Spring Game?

YOu can't complain about GoldRush snagging Golson, because I repped him the year before and he was stolen from me.  I think we should have a keeper option if your guy gets red shirted!

As far as player repping is concerned this past year, it was pretty non-existant.  What's crazy about that is we had a damn good year.

I know for me personally I had an early pick and even though GoldRush snagged Everrett Golson right in front of me, I was still happy to select Jamoris Slaughter, but to rep him this year was pretty hard due to an early season injury.  I thought he was going to be in beast mode this year.  The hit he put on that Purdue receiver was pretty beastly, and that's what I was hoping for all season.

The year before I repped Louis Nix and although it was just his 1st season playing, he was very easy to rep all year long.

There isn't any excuse for whoever reps a starting QB or running back, but if you've got a reserve OG, that's hard. O-line guys are a lot harder IMO. Unless you know a lot about line play and have high def, it is pretty challenging to come up with something to say.

Random thoughts:

1) I personally don't like the idea of "rep thread" all that much. I prefer the separate threads for players when they are getting repped.

2) What would it be like if we threw coaches into the draft too? They're part of the team as well. Not sure I'd want to draft one, but lotsa guys seem to have opinions on the coaches and I think it would be interesting to read some reppin' on what kind of game the D-cooridnator called, how the O-line did as a unit, etc.

PROUDLY REPPING...
