Unless I miscounted, we also have room for Tausch if both parties are so inclined. KurzND wrote: Martin, Watt, Fox, and Calabrese.

Re: 5th years?
so? they are specialists. they kick balls. no need to keep tausch. If I were him i would transfer to Kansas and play the whole season. then go to the NFL or canadian leagues.... he is a good kicker. amruther24 wrote:

I'd rather not be relying on a true FR to get FGs at the end of tight games. The scholarship is there, why not give it to him? Maybe it's best for HIM to move on, but it's best for Notre Dame to consider keeping a seasoned back up, just in case.

Re: 5th years?
Nichols may not be 100.0% officially done, but you can maybe put him down as 99.9%. Best wishes to the young man. IRISHVAC wrote: my math had us with only enough room for 3 5th years. i have martin watt and fox. if nichols doesnt come back then we can bring back carlo

Re: 5th years?
My main concern would be the sanity of posters quite unlike Remmuh - those who not only believe kicks are important, but that every missed FG is a sign of utter incompetence. amruther24 wrote:

Re: 5th years?
I know. We totally would have beat Alabama if Brindza would have just made a couple more kicks. amruther24 wrote:

Re: 5th years?
It's at 85 with the four 5th years and Nichols. Are you including the preferred walkon punter in your count
The four listed (Calabrese, Fox, Martin, Watt) aren't in question --------------------------------------------- --- IRISHVAC wrote:
