i agree that cave's a beast. however, i think that with the talent that we've recruited, the fact remains that golic started last season, and he didn't perform all that well. he's great at pulling, and i'd say that he's better in the run game than pass game, but golic wasn't really all that great. you may be right, but i have to think that our line, in its second season in the current blocking scheme, and, theoretically, playing more-talented guys, should be at least as good as it was this past season. moreover, i think that eg, combined with excellent, more-seasoned receivers, can be a dynamic, scary-good threat, making it hard for defenses to focus on our rushing attack (apart from golson's scrambling, etc.).

i like your prediction for our receivers, though. i wouldn't be surprised if it came to be, and i'm hopeful that it will.

I think our run game goes down slightly and our passing game takes off, off necessity alone. It would be amazing to get up in our first few games and let some of our backup RBs get some experience.

DD is going to have a big year if he stays healthy, same with TJ. I'm going to boldly say they both have 1000 yard years.

Our first 6 games are going to be a real test.

The real questions -- does Neal go to the slot this year? Does Cam McDaniel play over the two vaunted freshmen RBs? How is our right interior line going to hold up? Who is our backup QB?
