Wow, just wow.  I watched both videos and things that stuck out to me....

1. After seeing the vids I am even more shocked we got him.  Bama Is the most powerful football team and dynasty these young guys have seen In their lifetime as football fans.  UCLA was on a recruiting war path to end the season, they are close to home, quality coaches, and his principal was UCLA alum.  Our staff did an amazing job.  Especially considering how late we got Into the hunt for him.  Bama did a good job too because they got In even later than we did.

2. He said It was really close between Bama and ND and education put us over the top.......speaks to his character and maturity.

3. For him being from Cali that was an incredibly loud ovation and screams for his decision.  

4. I know some of you people dont like the term swagger.  But, swagger has been around forever, Its just had a different name with each generation.  The way he goes about himself and carries himself, he just has a 'swagger' and sense of confidence that Is contagious to the people around you.  Hes gonna be a leader for us In the future and the perfect person for Big Lou to pass the torch to.

5.  He Is big even out of pads and plays mean as all Hell.  He Is gonna be a fan favorite from the get go.

Yes! That's exactly what I was thinking.

May have been coached to cheer wildly for the "broadcast," and those students probably care a lot less than us recruiting board yahoos do about which school he actually lands at.  I screamed like a girl.

On the other hand, northeast of Sacramento is a LONG way from $C, and they don't necessarily love LA up there.  I'd guess they're more Cal, Stanford and even Oregon fans in those parts.

I think most Norhern Cal is just anti-Southern Cal...period.
Nor Cal is tried of So Cal stealing all their water for their swimming pools!!!
