So I just finished the first 2 seasons of Homeland and now am watching Game of Thrones.

What other TV shows on premium channels do you guys like?

I started watching Dexter but didnt love it and I also heard Boardwalk Empire was good

Boardwalk Empire is boring as hell compared to the two you are watching now. Homeland and GOT are basically the only two I watch.

I was a big fan of Entourage when it was on.

Once Upon A Time is surprisingly good.

A2, I'm assuming you've seen Deadwood and The Sopranos? If not, both are excellent even though they aren't on TV anymore.

I know it's not "premium", but Justified on FX is also really, really good. Breaking Bad and Mad Men are excellent (Mad Men can be slow). 

Veep, from HBO, is pretty funny.

I havent seen Deadwood or Sapranos. I think I'll check out Deadwood after Im done with Game of Thrones

Hah cussing. After watching Game of Thrones where there are boobs in every scene, cussing is the least of my worries.

I like Curb...Im waiting for the new season of Arrested Development to come out

Did you watch Friday Night Lights? I think it's better than any show we've listed including The Sopranos and Breaking Bad.

My wife became obsessed with FNL during her maternity leave...so Ive seen every episode multiple times. Really good show except for they seem to win or lose very game they play on a miracle last second play

Oh hell yes on Archer.  Also Black Dynamite on Adult Swim.  Hilarious movie as well (live action)

Workaholics is great too, and The Kroll Show has started off pretty strong

i would rank them like this:

1) californication
2) boardwalk empire
3) curb your enthusiasm
4) game of thrones

i was so excited to watch homeland. i watched most of the pilot, and gave up on it because it seemed so watered down and corny to me. i mean, aaron sorkin would've murdered it, i'm sure, but i felt like the writing was just awful. maybe i should re-visit it.

on cable, i also really like breaking bad, mad men, louie, and wilfred.

Eh, I wouldn't characterize it as that. It's a good show and it has funny moments, but as I said, it's not for everyone.

Part of the premise is that these girls are sort of trust fund babies living in New York trying to find themselves. The show makes fun of that type of lifestyle and how those that live it feel entitled to success even if they don't work hard for it.

I don't know, you could give it a try. I didn't mention it because it's been pretty polarizing.
