Treadwell to Mississippi????

Treadwell to Mississippi????

that is by far the worst offense in the SEC.   This kid is going to waste his talents at Mississippi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to a school that passes the ball son.

ND
Arkansas
Texas AM
Bama
Missouri

I dont understand kids choices.

RE: Treadwell to Mississippi????

Isnt he good friends with Standifer? Probably had something to do with why he chose Ole Miss...

Big name programs arent for everyone...

With that said, here comes the "we landed on the moon" punchline.

I actually like this choice. He chose a school he genuinely liked. He took his time and went through the process in a respectable way. I give the kid major props for this decision.

Not even close to the worst offense in the SEC and they throw the ball a good bit. Still, it is an odd choice.

I wouldnt say its an odd choice. Ole Miss is going to be right there towards the top after signing day. I expect them to land Nkemdiche because we wouldnt want to upset momma and i think they also get Antonio Conner. Two of the best defensive prospects in this class along with a QB that impressed in the Elite 11.

Freeze is killing it...but I think Nkemdiche had alot to do with it, everyone knows he's going there and a a ton of kids are hopping on board.

He's also tight with Nkemdiche, whom it's almost a foregone conclusion signs there as well.

Ole Miss is a fun team to watch and Hugh Freeze is a recruiting dynamo. I honestly am not surprised by the choice at all.

Fun fact...the same offense you say is the worst in the SEC dropped 38 points on Pitt and didn't need OT to win the game.

Re: Treadwell to Mississippi????

Nope. You guys didn't sell me.

If I'm a wr. I go to a top 25 program. A PROVEN top 25 program.

I pick between:

Nd
Bama
Georgia
Arkansas
Stanford
USC
Texas am

Why would you go to a doormat of a SEC???

RE: Treadwell to Mississippi????

because you formed a relationship with coaches and players and together have a goal to make the program better. This team is not the doormat of the SEC they just arent Bama, Georgia, LSU, and Florida. It seems people like to bash programs that arent their own but remember Notre Dame isnt far removed from the likes of a 7-6 season. Were you calling the Irish the doormat of college football when we were 3-9 and questioning why players like Michael Floyd and Kyle Rudolph were committing to play for Notre Dame? Its all about the relationships you form through the recruiting process and if you put in the work it doesnt matter what school you go to you will achieve your goals. Julio Jones was an Elite WR in high school and went to one of your above mentioned schools in Bama. He only went over 1000 yds receiving in his final year and never had more than 7 TD's in a season. He's already had a better career as far as stats in the NFl.

Re: Treadwell to Mississippi????

Yea...why go to the 5th rated offense in the SEC with your friends and try and build something? That's pretty much the very thing we were asking 2013 recruits to do prior to season....I'm sure people were asking Jaylon "why go to an ND team coming off two 8-5 seasons?"

Build something??? Aka good chance you're not going to build it.

You have one shot at this college career... Lets gamble it with a mediocre program.

man if only everyone was as smart as you blah2banghead

I hope Treadwell goes on to be a standout at Ole Miss and when he's drafted into the NFL he goes to a rival team of your favorite NFL team and haunts your dreams haha

RE: Treadwell to Mississippi????

I have $1,000 ridding on Notre Dame winning a National Championship before Ole Miss...so I'm not a big fan of this 2013 recruiting class. Freeze will bounce in a year or two, so I'm not all that worried. True story a buddy of mine was running his mouth about 6 years ago, SEC this SEC that...I said dude Ole Miss sucks and right then and there he bet me $1,000 Ole Miss would win a National Championship before Notre Dame. Easiest $1,000 I'll ever make.

He has offers from 7 pre season top 10 teams and 3 coach o the years and he picks ole miss... who was good once in the 60's.????

I have average smarts... But a heck a lot of common sense.

Ole miss record last 3 years:

2010: 4-8
2011: 2-10
2012: 7-6... Because they played Central Arkansas, utep, Tulane, auburn,

Yep. Sign me up.

Sign me up to play for Freeze and his 7-6 inexperienced career

RE: Treadwell to Mississippi????

ya and they will be preseason top 25 and remember where ND was this pas season. Unranked and had no shot of a better season than 8-4 maybe 9-3 with a tough schedule. Like I said I dont care about Ole Miss I just hope Treadwell proves you wrong.
