Tarean Folston

Posted: 1/18/2013 1:15 PM

Tarean Folston

Saw on another site, that he is on a visit to Auburn.  Is this true or a slip-up.  Scout has him a "soft verbal" though they list no official visits.  Thoughts.

Nah, it's just a hoax.wink

He does a visit this weekend per scout.

Re: Tarean Folston

He may just be making sure that ND is for him. Would be unfortunate if he left but it may open up a spot for Ty Isaac

I am reading that Auburn is targeting both Folston and Bryant? That would not be good.

This silly season of recruiting can turn your stomach into knots. Has Kelly used his in-home w/Folston? Just curious.

Greg Bryant was going to visit too until Alford convinced him to cancel

Does he have a thing for schools that Bama crushes?

No worries, I figured that's where you got it from (FB or email from a friend). Just double check where it came from before posting it here.

If Ty Isaac wants in... I'd pull Tarean's scholarship and give it to Ty.

Feb 6th cant come fast enough its going to be a long three weeks. we are in a serious slump. Folston is on a visit right now and iam about 60 percent sure he flips to auburn.

Ahhh man that Is just the paranoia of all the past years adding up.  I would be pretty pissed If he did flip though.  The only thing that would console me Is to land Ty Isaac.

The staff likes Isaac more as an ATH (mostly OLB) than strictly RB

RE: Tarean Folston

But In this scenario would they prefer him to slide back to RB?

Why would he want to go to Auburn?  That team Is terrible now that Cam left.

It'd be upsetting if he flipped, the kid's a player, but it WOULD free up another spot for a stud recruit.

Yea but RB isn't as big of a need as something else like say DL

Re: Tarean Folston

This wont happen and would be bad move IMO, they are different players and Ty wants Pro-style offense and to be the featured back etc etc--and thats not what he would get at ND in all likelihood. ND thought he was possibly a home town kind of guy but he wasnt, he pretty well shunned ND right out of the box, now SC sux and he wants back in? Not sure we want or need him, ship sailed. He, like Anthony Barr, is not a college running back, he would have to be Eric Dickerson and he is not Eric Dickerson.
