Now that Kelly is back! ...'13 recruiting/depth chart prediction

Now that Kelly is back! ...'13 recruiting/depth chart prediction

I am going with adds of:

Deon Hollins Jr
Vanderdoes

QB - Everett --- 2nd string Kiel
RB - GA3 gets nod but Folston and Bryant all get even carries by mid-season
WR - DD
WR - TJ
WR - D. Neal
TE - Niklas and Koyack
OL - Z.Martin, Watt, N.Martin (c), Stanley, Lombard

DL - Springman, Nix, Tuitt
LB - Sembo/Spond, Grace, Fox, Ishaq (looked very good at end of season, and is the only of the 3 listed OLBs that has the skill to cover and pressure)
CB - Russell, Jackson
S - Slaughter, Redfield

Re: Now that Kelly is back! ...'13 recruiting/depth chart

ND will add:

Vanderdoes, Prevot, Isaac, and maybe LaRue/Hollins.

At RB you forgot Carlisle/Mahone
OL should be Hegarty at Center and Martin at RG. Stanley is backup LT.

DL Day instead of Springmann.
LB: Sembo (CAT), Grace, Fox/Carlo, Spond
S: Slaught (if he returns) and Farley isn't giving up his spot.

RE: Now that Kelly is back! ...'13 recruiting/depth chart predic

1. Ishaq won't start. Also, I thought...wait...let me rephrase what I was gonna say...I don't think he is close to prepared to be a starter at this time.
2. Would be borderline stunned if Slaughter gets a sixth year. Regardless, there is a starting spot for Farley.
3. Shembo and Spond continue to start outside......with Jaylon chasing Spond immediately.

Just curious as to why you seem to think Eddie comes to ND?

Are you very certain with your recruiting predictions, or is that who you'd like to finish out the class with?

Also add in and I see these rotations.

RB - GA3 ? Carlisle, Mahone, Bryant and Folston
WR - DD, Brown
WR  TJ,  Smith, Robinson
TE Niklas, Koyack, Huerman?

DL Nix, Tuitt, Jones

S Redfield, Farley, Shumate,  Baratti, Collinsworth

There are also guys like Fuller and some other guys who should get major playing time
Dominic Romeo on ND

Just curious when do we find out if C Wood is declaring or not?? This would obviously impact the RB situation

January 15th is the last day. We will know his decision in less than 48 hours.

You forget Amir and Cam at RB...they have a shot as well.
Also Lo Wood will be back to claim his spot.  And I think Farley gets the nod over Max.

I really like your "ND will add" predictions.  I keep forgetting about Mahone. How good Is Heggie?

I have heard/read that Heggie looks very good...1 more offseason of Longo and he will be set!  I forget Mahone too, but think Bryant will skip over him (scout team MVP means nothing always)

1.  Agree, but he made great strides throughout this season.  And he is the only upper class OLB that has the ability to excel at coverage and rushing QB!  Shembo doesnt cover and Spond doesnt blitz...I dont think this can change much.  I am kind of hoping/betting on Ishaq here excited
2.  Hope Slaughter get it!!!  Nuf said biggrin
3.  I wonder how Jaylon comes into play?!  I though he would be a Longo redshirt until the AA games circuit showed he is ready!!!  Yaaa ND!!!!

Surprised nobody has mentioned Justin Ferguson. Personally, I've got high hopes for the kid!

Nothing against any of these guys, most of whom I know very little about, but the idea of taking on four more scholarships makes me borderline queasy.

No doubt you know more than I as to who is likely to return, and you haven't indicated a preference here, but I still hope we don't wind up waving goodbye to many potentially valuable 5th/6th year guys.

I forgot all about him with Chris Brown playing this year.  ESPN had Justin as our top commit his year

good chance he redshirts, or at the very least- like Manti, he's not going to start until game 3 or 4.  he's not an EE, it'll take time to acclimate to the college game as well as everything else.
