Got in my annual squabble with VC...... Crown City cried and got a ban till Jan 28th..... Darn!
Now that all things have been rebalanced in the universe:  We will win again!  We will dominate again!  Because?  WE  ARE  ND!!! And, they're not.......

Totally didn't show up, lack of class! May be good for ND in recruiting. If you are a USC recruit and watched that.....why on earth would you want to play there and for Kiffin?

Re: USC

Even ole Vern Lundquist got in the bit about SC not shoeing up for the Bowl Game Activity Dinner. That was quite a shot of the empty dining hall.

No class all week and then quitters and punks at the game. They really showed class when the streaker ran down the field and they shouted "Only in Mexico" Like there's no Mexican people around the SC Barrio?

Did they quit? I had guests over so I couldn't devote my full attention.

Cheer up. Eagles could end up with Manti
Yea you can't keep a guy whose team quit on him early in the year, two years in a row. I think the Birds grab Joeckel from TAMU before Te'o, but Manti should definitely be there in the #4 spot so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

With the talent USC has on that team, quitting is the only way they could have lost to Georgia Tech.

I don't like usc but I still want them at there best every year. The best rivalry is when both teams are good. They need to fire kiffin and get a real respectable coach in there. He got them threw the probation now they need a someone else to get them respectable again. The guy that makes perfect sence to be is jon gruden.

Obviously this thread needs more Jon Gruden. Maybe to the Browns!

Re: Lol. The SC board is in an absolute meltdown.

The big problem IMO is what his will do to recruiting. Rumors of a divided locker room (Kiffins guys vs the rest...why Kessler never saw the field) and player development prolems could throw whats left of the football program into the toilet. It also answers questions about the pathetic performance by a team ranked pre-season #1.

Unfortunately, so far it doesnt appear Haden has the spine to make the tough decisions (see our basketball program).

Its a mess.

Re: Lol. The SC board is in an absolute meltdown.

Probably one of the more frustrating seasons EVER for a USC fan...I know this board has had its share of meltdowns

I completely bought into this USC team as the #1 team preseason, but I think I shouldve seen the writing on the wall with the lack of depth on both lines. They had the 'sexy' part of the team right with elite skill players (Lee, Woods, Barkley, Redd, Grimble, etc) but sexy doesnt win championships. Talent, depth and experience on BOTH lines is the most important thing for a football team. I honestly think this USC team would have done better if Barkley went pro and Kalil stayed for another year.

USC will be back, but CLK needs to mentally and emotionally reel this team in. As Trojjan said, there seems to be divides in the locker room...not sure if they were there before the season or they were the product of a disappointing season...either way, Hayden needs to find a solution. The team today was a shadow of the team that played ND a month ago.
