We got beat down at home by Davidson by 49 points.

The sun came up the next day.

Carry on.

Whatever Aaron.  I could care less about the sun.  It comes up everyday but there is absolutely no excuse to get blown out like this yet again.  None...very sad display of Herd basketball.

Aaron, I believe the old saying is "There is no future in History" and please look beyond this game tonight and Marshall University.  Another clinic by an opposing team...I was looking for anything and found nothing except our starters beating up on the managers in uniform...out coached (again) out played (again), yes we may make it a game at home...but not much to build off of tonight (again)...we played a Div II ECU team and looked like superstars....what does Memphis hold for the mean green?

Nice job by Ohio tonight

Oh wait

Carry on

@derekredd: The loss is the worst of Tom Herrion's career. That's the third time I've written that this season.

Don't get some of us? Because we question why we got beat so bad? This is the third whipping plus a home loss to Delaware St. I am not "piling" on the team but I give money and buy tickets so I sure as hell will question how we can go on the road and completely get whipped. There is no excuse to get beat like that. Don't compare us to Duke getting stomped tonight. Those two situations are completely different.

It is a sad day when we get by 50+ and some want to make excuses. I know the kids feel bad but they are the face of the program along with the Coach and yes they do have to suffer through fans questioning a performance. Notice I am not slamming a kid but only questioning a pathetic performance. This is the third time this year.

Who made an excuse? Fine ONE excuse that I have made. We got killed. Period. End of story. You dont think our team knows that? Really?

And Im sorry, no offense, but the "i give my money and buy tickets" line, is just old.

Question all you want.

I simply made a point about a score, that none of you even remembered, and it was not to long ago, and in a pretty good period of Herd Bball.

Its one game, its a loss, we are 2 - 2 in CUSA, coming off an NIT season. Why jump off the wagon?

I could understand one loss, even if it was this one loss. But when you show a pattern of repeated bad play and get beat the same exact way in multiple road games you have to start to question what is going on. The sun will come up, but this team has slept in every morning.

A 50+ point loss to a conference foe is more than embarrassing!!! This team was totally and utterly humiliated!!! The problems with this team goes far beyond Canty's lack of eligibility.

The sun coming up helps me feel better. I also feel better knowing that USM beat William Carey 89-59. So we only got beat 26 more points than they did. I take heart in that.

I think we need to recruit more JUCOs...........yes.......JUCOs.

Come on Aaron. I know the guys know they for beat but fans can criticize when this has happened two other times. The team was 11-33 from the FT line, had 31 turnovers and 20 of those were steals. USM wasn't a top 5 team. I love the Herd and support the Herd but when they deserve to be criticized I will damn well do it. For you to NOT be critical is great or stupid but that is not me. I will praise when they deserve it and be critical when they deserve it. An just think...we get the chance to play Memphis at Memphis this weekend.

I am not saying we should fire Herrion yet but I am letting it be known I am concerned. If you don't believe there is reason to be concerned then I have some ocean front property in Pike County KY I will sell you.

So does the constant uninspired play and blowout road losses.

Two blowout losses on the road, not counting a loss to UK in that mix.

The OU loss came with an injured Kane trying to come back.

Both OU and USM shot over 60% from the floor in the first half.

We come out smokin hot against ECU and I have to read how we were just playing out of our minds. Someone else does it, and we are awful.

This is a long season, and right now, we are not setting bad. We will most likely be 2 - 3 after five games. I would say most everyone expected that in September.

I would be more upset, but it's hard to keep a vested interest in something that's only been on TV three times this season (one of which I was at). And the fact it's the same crap every year in both major sports. SMH.

Yeah. Haven't had more than 6 wins in football since 2003. Before last season we hadn't been to a major tournament since 1988? Crap. That and the fact I can follow the SEC on our local telecasts more than I can CUSA and Marshall just frustrates me. I'm just annoyed with about every aspect of my team.

Radio and the Internet carry everything.

We won 7 games two years ago in football.

Can't be the same crap if we did something last year that we hadn't done in a quarter century
