Hopefully some of these younger guys can step up and be true leaders this off-season into next year. I feel that was a big problem this season is that not enough of the seniors wanted to step up and be vocal.

I don't think those offensive guys had too much to hang their heads about.

or that we only had a very very small number of seniors that had been here their whole career.

Weird group for sure

Arrington and Wilson - 5th year guys who played a lot
Ward - Fifth year guy who had to be disgruntled with the staff
Bruhin - 6th year warrior, who tried to play as many downs as possible, had some leadership but didnt play a position of leadership
Dobson and Booker - 4th year true seniors
OO and LeGrande - One year guys

Odd class.

For the life of me, I will never figure out why Ward didn't transfer out of here? I'm sure there are other factors than just playing football. But from a football prospective, he should have transferred out after his Sophomore season.

I feel the same way about Taliaferro. He is too good of a running back to only play special teams. Once all of the backs are healthy again, he is probably going to be the 4th or 5th string running back again next season.

It is going to be real interesting to see what happens to Tron Martinez next year. I can't see him surpassing Butler, Groomes or Watson for playing time.

No matter who you are, or who you root for, it is tough to sit and watch.  Kids that have poured everything they have into their team and have been living a dream they have had since putting on the pads, realize that the dream is now over.
