We are doing a great job of beating the winless teams and one-win teams. That is our specialty.

We will probably score 50, in front of maybe 20,000. Doc's record against terrible teams is pretty good.

Re: Memphis - Early Line (2 votes)
They just announced another ticket promotion..
A big thanks to our friends at Kroger. Use the promo code to purchase $10 end zone tickets or $20 sideline tickets. You can also show your Kroger card at the ticket office and receive the same discount. GO HERD!

Well..........if you don't have a ticket to this upcoming classic, then I would buy endzone seats for $10 and move to better seats during the game. I don't think you will have a problem.

Re: Memphis - Early Line (2 votes)
You cant blame the fans for this clusterf%$#k. We choked in big games against OU, Tulsa and now UCF - the most embarrassing of all. I dont blame the fans one bit.
Marshall would be wise to lower the tix prices to $5.00 and $10.00. My 5 will continue to be there and cheer but its becoming increasingly difficult. I brought 4 friends to the game on Saturday, they haven't been this year. I had to apologize for the shitty product on the field. Doc sucks, Rippon sucks.
We'll be lucky to finish 2-2 and 5-7 overall.
This is what happens when you go cheap and hire to career assistants. KO let the Gibsons screw him inot hiring Snyder and Hammy hired his buddy Doc. Nice job boys!

I dont blame the fans for it per say, but 22k? Did they all know the team wouldnt show up for the game?? I sure didnt.
Everything was embarrassing from the walk, to the energy in the stadium, and everything until the bitter end.

Re: Memphis - Early Line (2 votes)
The best team we beat this season was Rice. A lot of people aren't going to line up for a team that has beaten three teams that all have a losing record. We are a fanbase, like many, that has the bandwagon element. It is what it is. I don't fault the ticket office. They ran a good promotion to sell tickets. But at some point this team has to have a quality win.
I feel we will win the next two games although they won't be as easy as many may think. Our defense is so bad that it gives Memphis and especially UAB a chance to beat us.

Our fans aren't going to show up to see a team that can't win a game at home except for I-AA schools. Couple that with bad weather and I don't blame them. I'm really feeling ambivalent towards the football program right now myself.

The Herd still has a very good chance of finishing 7-5, but only because there are so many bad teams left on our schedule.

Completely relevant. If our coach wants to preach "competitive excellence" and we show none against any team with a pulse, then that flies out the window. The only reason we'll have a .500 season is if we beat every team with a losing record. Is that really acceptable to you? It's not to me. Win some games.
