Scouting Report: TCU Offensive Line

After taking a look at the TCU skill players on offense yesterday, I dive into the big fellas up front for the Horned Frogs today. It's almost startling how many similarities there are between LSU's and TCU's offensive lines entering this game - lot of youth, not too many career starts and a big cog moving to left tackle.

Read more about it at the FREE link below and weigh in with your thoughts.

Re: Scouting Report: TCU Offensive Line

OLines are about - EVEN. No advantage for either that I see.

LSU OLINE
(playing musical chairs all Fall Camp long with the loss of Willard, every Olineman was moved to a different position, with mixed to poor results in Fall Camp thus far. The most crucial spot on the Oline is Center and that is the most worrisome with a total newbie soph starter taking that spot. All this upheaval in the Oline in Fall Camp would be fine in any other year against Wofford College, West Illinois Girls School and Appaphucking-lachian St College, and all the other pathetic OOC teams Lsu plays in OOC games, however, this one time - this year - against Tcu - Lsu has a huge problem. This Oline has to face the # 4 Dline in the nation right out of the box in the first game and I dont like the looks of this for Lsu.

TCU
(Tcu returns all their starting Olinemen except one and the line is a veteran experienced line now, even though they were mediocre last season. Last season they had three freshman starters on the Oline who are experienced starters now, so they should be much improved. Two seniors take up the other two OLine spots, so the Tcu Oline has the potential to be very very good this year, and one of the best in the Big 12 if the sophs continue to improve as they did in Fall Camp this year. The Oline was the most improved unit of the entire team in Fall Camp according to Coach Patterson, and the Coach said the Oline is vastly improved from last season, so that was extremely encouraging to Tcu fans that the Oline is finally getting good after a few yrs of mediocrity.

Both OLines of both Lsu and Tcu appear to be a wash. Both teams have exceptional RBs, but Tcu has the edge at QB and WR over Lsu, and Tcu has the edge on defense (Tcu's defense named the # 5 defense in nation for this year - Lsu defense not ranked in Top 25).

Tcu - 32
Lsu - 14

Re: Scouting Report: TCU Offensive Line

When was the last time anyone in SEC not named BAMA won a national title. Maybe once - Florida, maybe once Lsu and thats it !!
Minus Bama it aint too different from Oklahoma's title and Texas's recent title.

All you are doing is bragging about BAMA and saying Lsu is good cuz of Bama, when the reality is you are the obnoxious little brother that hides behind Mommy's skirt and then gets punched in the testicles in your bowl game by a mediocre ACC team and almost lose to Towson College last yr too !!! Hilarious !!

I seriously wish Tcu could play Lsu's phhhucked up football schedule !! I really do !! Tcu would go 10-2 every single year in the SEC just like the pizzzz poor A&M (who never did better than 6-6 in the Big 12 in 15 friggin yrs - until of course til they joined the SEC and immediatly became a 10-2 team - HILARIOUS !!).

I WISH TCU COULD PLAY THIS LSU PIZZZ POOR SCHEDULE:

GAME 1 - Western Illinois College (2013 OOC opponent)

GAME 2 - Univ of Towson (2012 OOC opponent)

GAME 3 - Univ of Kent State (2013 OOC opponent)

GAME 4 - Ole Pizzzz (great name cuz they are pizzzz poor)

GAME 5 - VandyPanties (automatic win for last 45 yrs !!)

GAME 6 - Kenphuckky (automatic win over laughingstock team)

GAME 7 - Mizzzery (SEC last place doormat team, sucked in B12 too)

GAME 8 - ArkieSucks (really shiiiietty program and getting worse)

GAME 9 - AuburnBums (putrid 10 loss team last yr that needed OverTime last yr to beat Monroe College of Louisiana !! Egads !!)

GAME 10 - TennePeePee (really crappy 4-8 team last yr who somehow lost to VandyPanties and Mizzery in the same yr !!)

LSU HAS 10 AUTO WINS EVERY YEAR BEFORE THE TEAM EVEN HAS TO SHOW UP FOR THE GAMES !!!! Geeeezzz !!!! What a puzzzified schedule !!

Looks to me like Lsu plays about 2-3 tough games per year and that's it !! All the rest of the teams on LSUs schedule are all bed-wetters.

LSU plays 2-3 real games per year and thats it. Try the Big 12 where you have to do it WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT, unlike Lsu.  Ask A&M how it goes in the Big 12 !! They are holy terrors in the SEC but were pure sukkage in the Big 12 for 15 yrs !!

Try this schedule on for size (for Lsu in the B12) !! ------

GAME 1) # 16 Tcu (which will be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-1)

GAME 2) # 11 Oklahoma (which would be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-2)

GAME 3) # 9 Texas (which would be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-3)

GAME 4) # 8 Oklahoma St (which would be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-4)

GAME 5) # 19 Kansas St (which would be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-5)

GAME 6) # 20 Baylor (which would be a loss for Lsu) (Lsu 0-6)

GAME 7) Loss (upset vs either TTech, Wvu, or Iowa St) (Lsu 0-7)

Lsu goes 5-7 in the Big 12 most years (just like A&M).

Re: Scouting Report: TCU Offensive Line

The Lsu Oline is in a state of confusion and all starters are in new spots on the Oline for this year, with a brand new rookie starter at Center which is the most important spot on the OLine because he makes the blocking calls.  In Fall Camp even the Coaches said the Oline has a whole lot of work to do to be even close to being ready for the season.

And every single DLine starter is new this year. If that isnt enough, both Cornerbacks are newbie sophs who were terrible last year on one of the worst pass defenses in all of college football last season.

And if that isnt bad enough, even your own fans are disgusted with the choice of starter at Middle LB and think he should be replaced, after fans saw him play very poorly in Spring Ball and Fall Camp.

Added to that is that MettenStinkenberger really stunk up the joint in his most recent game (bowl game) and put in what was termed by the sportscasters - "A HORRID PERFORMANCE" - in that game. Now after having not even played another game, he is magically and miraculously better somehow?  I dont think so !! Tcu's Pachall is the far far far better QB !! And every NFL draft analyst says so.

LSU is in deep deep doo doo in this game. LSU fans just dont know it yet.

Lsu fans have no idea what is coming their way. No idea at all !!

LSU average strength of schedule last 4 years: 4.25
TCU average strength of schedule last 4 years: 26.25

Last year TCU strength of schedule, first year in the Big12: 22
Last year LSU strength of schedule: 3
2011 LSU Strength of schedule: 1

A&M never did squat in the big 8 until they got Manziel which happened to coincide with their transition to the SEC and aquiring Kevin Sumlin (excelent coach). Their QBs were garbage before that. Their recruiting has also exploded since the move because they would rather go to schools that win championships than drug dealing teams like TCU. Keep digging Techie.

Re: Scouting Report: TCU Offensive Line

So many IDIOTIC statements in just one post !! Amazing !! I hope all Lsu fans aren't this clueless !! Yikes !!

Let's take a closer look at all the stupidity by this poster -

1) ONE PLAYER (Manziel) DOESN'T MAKE A TEAM GREAT ALL OF A SUDDEN. OTHERWISE UNIV OF NEVADA WOULD HAVE WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WITH COLIN KAEPERNICK, DUMMY !! GEE I WONDER WHY MICHIGAN DIDN'T WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WHEN TOM BRADY WAS THERE, DUMMY !! GEE I WONDER WHY NOTRE DAME DIDN'T WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WHEN JOE MONTANA WAS THERE, DUMMY !! HOW COME SOUTH CAROLINA CAME IN 6TH PLACE IN THE SEC THE YEAR GEORGE ROGERS WON THE HEISMAN ?? HOW COME OKLAHOMA ST CAME IN 5th PLACE IN THE YEAR BARRY SANDERS WON THE HEISMAN ? You sir are a dunce !!

2) COACH KEVIN SUMLIN DIDN'T "SUDDENLY SHOW UP AT A&M AS AN AMAZING COACH. HE WAS MEDIOCRE TO BAD AT UNIV OF HOUSTON AND HE COACHED ONE YEAR IN THE BIG 12 (and he went 6-6) BEFORE HE WENT TO THE SEC. THEN AFTER YET ANOTHER CRAPPY SEASON IN THE BIG 12 A&M MAGICALLY BECAME GOOD. BLAHAHAHAHHAHAAAA !! AMAZING WHAT PLAYING VANDYPANTIES, then OLE PIZZZZ, then KENPHUCKKY, then TENNEPEEPEE, then MIZZERY, then ARKIEPUKE, then AUBURN BUMS, WILL DO FOR YOUR SCHEDULE, ESPECIALLY AFTER PLAYING THREE PATHETIC CUPCAKES IN YOUR FIRST 3 OOC GAMES !! ANY HALF DECENT SEC TEAM HAS 9-10 AUTOMATIC WINS BEFORE THEY EVEN HAVE TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP AND PLAY.

3) TCU WOULD BE 10-2 OR BETTER, EVERY SINGLE SEASON IN THE SEC AND WOULD TERRORIZE THE SEC SAME AS THE FORMER 6-6 BIG 12 CRAPPY A&M TEAM IS DOING !! TCU WOULD BE A HOLY TERROR IN THE SEC !!

4) VERY FEW SEC TEAMS COULD COMPETE AT THE TOP OF THE BIG 12. VANDYPANTIES COULD NOT, OLE PIZZZZ COULD NOT, TENNEPEEPEE COULD NOT, AUBURN COULD NOT (auburn went 4-8 last yr - ouch !), ARKIEPUKE COULD NOT, KENPHUCKKKY IS PATHETIC, MISS ST COULD NOT, MIZZERY COULD NOT AND NEVER DID IN 16 YRS IN THE LEAGUE, LAST YR FLORIDA COULD NOT. IN FACT VERY FEW SEC TEAMS COULD - WHICH WAS PROVEN INDISPUTEDLY BY A FORMER SHIIIIETT TEAM IN THE BIG 12 JOINED THE SEC AND TERRORIZED THAT LEAGUE. HILARIOUS !!
