Gilmore is a versatile defensive lineman that can spin off offensive tackles or bull-rush interior linemen to get to the quarterback. He is could play inside or outside on the next level, but he will likely grow into an athletic defensive tackle. He needs to continue to get stronger, specially in the upper-body, and he needs to play with better consistent pad level. He moves well laterally, he has quick feet, and good potential. -

Greg Gilmore, DT, 6-4 285, South View High School , N.C. , 2013: Gilmore is set to announce his commitment to either LSU or Florida on Thursday at 4 p.m. CT. All reports coming from the Gilmore camp are pointing to the Tigers. LSU has been recruiting Gilmore diligently over the spring and summer before hosting him officially this past weekend.Gilmore’s mother also gave LSU high marks after her first visit to Baton Rouge during the Alabama game.  Gilmore always had LSU as his top choice, but getting his mother on board was the key. It would be shocking if Gilmore didn’t choose the Tigers, but crazier things have happened.
