What is Your Strategy If the Dollar Collapses?
Wow. I did not know we even had a "politics" board. But I think its a
terrific idea. I view sports, UA sports in particular, as a diversion from
work, and the constant refrain of "doom & gloom" in the alternative
media.
Back in the day, I took several econ courses undergrad, including money
& banking. I admit concern that the "Fed" seems to have lost control.
While the dems & repugs are going toe to toe over fiscal deficits, etc.,
we learn that the Fed lent 16 trillion dollars to various entities and
foreign banks, and its most recent QE111 will destroy the "dollar, aka
the FRN". So, as the currency wars continue, who really gives a fig about
the bought off Congress' disputes?
I think the average college educated Joe and Jane is in deep doo doo
in the USA. According to some, the average man/woman will have to
fend for themselves when the great collapse comes (if it comes). We will
revert to "regionalism". How is the Tucson community going to survive?
I am in a relatively agrarian part of Northern Cal., and we have food
and water but what will happen to Tucson?
I hope my fellow UA compadres are taking some steps to prepare as
best you are able. Bear down.

I will buy food insurance. Lots of it. As I can't imagine the horror of not eating creamed corn and niblets each day, along with pop tarts.
The horror.
Tell me more about the rapage and pillaging.

Personally, I'm going to send some money to Obama, our Savior, as I know he cares for me. Recently, while on his perpetual campaign tour, he told a talk show host that he had learned when you are the president, you actually have to represent ALL of the citizens of the United States. I'm so proud of the wonderful awakenings he has had on the golf course.
Things are getting very dicey in the world, and I appreciate that he just needs four more years to make the oceans recede, get his Muslim compadres under control, and heal the planet and all of it's inhabitants. With numerous fundraisers, TV appearances, and celebrity parties to deal with, a round of golf or two in Hawaii is long overdue in order to ease the stress of the heavy lifting he has been doing. All he needs is for all of us to do our fair share. That way, we can ALL rest assured that our future is secure, safely in the capable and steady hands of the Chosen One. We will have no worries!

Lots of it. Lead is a good investment. The scientists of old kept trying to find ways to trn lead into gold. If you discover that -- YOU'RE GOLDEN!!! Oh wait -- you mean THAT KIND of lead.
