When Will The Norv/AJ Lovers Just Admit They Were Wrong?

When Will The Norv/AJ Lovers Just Admit They Were Wrong?

I know, I know....I was right.

But just to seal the deal, and I take no pride in this, trust me, it would be nice if certain posters put on their big boy pants for a minute and just admitted that Norv and AJ are both huge failures, something many of us saw coming years ago.

It is beyond me why Spanos had to wait so long to pull the trigger, things could be way different, but he's a cheap SOB...what else is there to say about that louse.

So please....step up, and just say it...

I love you, Honk, and you were most assuredly right all along, but these fellows are damned good Chargers fans. They just hold out hope better than you or I. For me, I wish you HAD been wrong, but it is time to move on. However, if the Lord of No Rings is retained, I may be forced to go on a multi-state killing spree.wink

Right back at ya bro! Hey, if they can dish it, they better be able to take it, right? I've taken it on the chin hundreds of times, I've never complained. Just curious though if either of these posters would like to finally admit something. Might be good for the soul....maybe

When will the day come when all Norv threads could be confined to a few threads and as opposed to creating a new thread for every single thought on the man?

I have no idea if I'm on your list "admission list". I'm no Norv apologist (wasn't thrilled we waited so long and got stuck with him).

However I have been a staunch antagonist when it comes to most of the names who have been listed on this site who people thought would be a "better" head coach. In my opinion, most names are simply the "latest flavor" and, upon closer inspection, turn out to be a myth (Mike Singletary, Ron Rivera, Wade Phillips, Josh McDaniels, Rex Ryan).

But, in terms of Norv, I'm heartily on board with him being gone.

This year is a better year for coaching candidates IMO, but I honestly believe Jon Gruden was an option last year, and I believe he signed a new deal with ESPN over the Spring.

I also wish we'd have done as much as possible to entice Jim Harbaugh when we had the chance, and I wish we'd have pulled our head out of our ass and hired Wade Phillips as DC.

I'm on board with getting a new GM and HC, but we won't do any better next season if the o-line is not addressed.

Everybody who knows anything about the Chargers knew that we would be screwed if/when Gaither goes down with injury.

I wanted AJ fired last off-season and if he was, maybe his replacement would have gotten us something better than undrafted players at both sides of the line.

Only when Norv is fired Thrilla which looks like will happen at the end of the season.

This could have been done more tactfully and without the obvious finger pointing (baiting)

Honk, there was a time when I wanted to hear the apologists admit they were wrong, now I dont need to hear from people who were wrong.

We are the ones they should be asking to hear from. If they were stock advisers would you ask them another question? Not me.

At this point if they had a booger in their right nostril, I'm sure they'd stick their finger in the left.

ON THE OTHER HAND... there are those that will start throwing the new HC under the bus after the first loss, and the new GM, too, when he doesn't draft the player they have selected from internet websites.
